Also plan on writing a fic for The Shield, more planning needed prior to posting.
A Little About Myself
My OC will not be any kind of Mary-Sue, which (from what i have seen) might be a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other stories i have read.
Upload on weekends; edits on weekdays. When I take vacation, I typically increase my upload frequency since I'm normally at home. (That staycation is underrated.) I occasionally will give a warning in my author's note in any case I foresee a complication that will prevent me from uploading a chapter if it extends past my weekly upload.
When Did I Start Writing Fanfiction:
I've written stories since I was about 10 years old. I'm 27 now.
I didn't start posting my fics until 2012.
Writing is my outlet for escapism but it also has always been a passion of mine from a young age. I've been writing smut since I was a teenager, and started incorporating horror elements into my fics in my 20s. (There may be some psychological correlation in there somewhere, but let's not mull that one over for too long, heh.)
What Does My Writing Typically Include:
Gore, murder, horrific elements (such as phobias, loss of limb, beheading, torture), and triggering themes such as major character deaths, non-con/rape, sexual assault, kidnapping, Stockholm Syndrome, and trigger elements. I do mention upcoming triggers in my author's notes for those who prefer not to read about it in these chapters. I also write smut that's just delectably filthy.
I've written stories in Harry Potter (excluding Fantastic Beasts: As I understand it, that's an entirely separate fandom but I wanted to be be specific), Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy, The Big Bang Theory, Once Upon A Time, and my current fandom, Gotham. I've been writing my Gotham fanfic for the past three years, publishing back 2017. (See 'upload schedule' for my updating frequency.) Planning on writing for The Shield as well. :)
What Do I Do
I work 12-hr night shifts in an emergency room. So, naturally, my sleep schedule doesn't know what's happening lol
