In this poor job market, I find myself really wishing that I could go to wizard school instead. So I am just stuck reading and writing stories and daydreaming about magic while trying to figure out what I want to do for my alleged grown up life.

I am a usual stickler for canon information but enjoy stories with changes if they offer a rational explanation.

If I had a Green Lantern ring, I'd try to make my own Quidditch game. If Quidditch was a sport, I'd play beater. I have no patience to look for the snitch, and chasing around a quaffle seems less fun. Since Quidditch is not going to become real anytime soon, I stick to riding my motorcycle around despite my coworkers making fun of me for only having a 250cc bike. I haven't had any real trouble taking it on the highway and it didn't cost me a fortune. That's all that matters.

I love most types of music, from country music, to unfortunately trashy pop songs. My friends find this fact highly amusing. I regret to say that I for some reason find Kesha to be somewhat cute despite my dislike of nose rings; for some reason, hers looks nice. Though I would be concerned with contracting disease based off of the lyrics to her songs. I also find Nicki Minaj songs to be quite catchy; I wish her lyrics weren't so weird, as they do not make sense for normal context and conversation... and her music videos are a bit disturbing as her facial expressions are not natural.

There's a part of me that wishes that J.K. Rowling would do a prequel, as I really want to know more about Harry's parents. Though I am afraid that an attempt at it may be as bad and disappointing like when George Lucas did the last Star Wars movies.
