Oh man so sorry I didn't change/update anything last month guys. Been busy.
Well I'm doing a few changes to this shindig (Don't know who actually says that anymore XD). I'm still working primarily on Balto Fanfiction, which, I know, ticks off a lot of my readers. Well, sorry to disappoint guys but I go based on what i get the most reviews on and so far, Balto and Clash of the Titans are really kicking butt on this lol. So I'm doing things a little differently this time around. Instead of posting info about me, I'm gonna post stuff about characters from my current fandom (Which right now is Balto, deal with it). So here you go: All the dirt you wanna know on all my characters from my Balto fics. Squarely my OCs, no one else's.
Alias: Aubrey, Rusty Aubrey (uses his former name as a last name in future fics)
Species: Wolf-Dingo (hybrid)
Voiced by (If made into a movie): Russell Crowe
Profile: Rusty was a police dog born in Sydney Australia from a dingo mother and wolf father. He was adopted from an illegal hunting farm by a policeman who helped to track down the killer of Rusty's mother, a pure bred dingo (which are actually rare in Australia). Once adopted, Rusty was introduced to Madeline Aubrey, who taught him that life is precious and beautiful. He sees the child as his saving grace. Later, the family moves to Alaska, first to Anchorage and then to Nome, where Rusty and his owner are made Police Inspectors. When the typhoid hit the town of Nome, Madeline was one of the first to fall sick, and, desperate to help the dogs get the cure back to Nome, Rusty and the girl's father raced off to find the lost sled team, only to be separated by a bear attack, which left the human under the impression his beloved companion was dead. Madeline, sadly, died without ever seeing her best friend again. Two years after the attack, Rusty lives as a wild dog, wandering wherever he wants, and on one of these wanderings he finds Aleu. The two begin a journey back to Nome and later Rusty finds out that Madeline was one of the first children to die from the sickness. He is devastated, but honors her with annual visits to the town. He has three pups with Aleu: Aniu (Who is adopted by both parents), Bryn and Tannis (who are biologically theirs)
Species: Wolf-dog-Dingo (super hybrid)
Voiced by (if made into a movie): Emilie de Ravin
Profile: The daughter of Rusty Aubrey and Aleu, Bryn is adventurous and musical as a pup, a lot more so than her brother Tannis. She's more open to take risks as long as they don't hurt her family. Despite it all, she fears rejection by them, and doesn't talk to her older sister Aniu too much. Her life gets shaken when she meets Vance, a German shepherd-Alaskan Malamute who has cataracts and a secret of his own. Bryn is passionate about music and sometimes writes her own songs (Which in the fics are actually owned by other artists). She believes in love at first sight and knows she and Vance are living proof of its existence. She and Vance will inevitably have three pups: Slade, Jori, and Kisa.
Species: Wolf-dog-Dingo (super hybrid)
Voiced by (if made into a movie): Manu Bennett
Profile: The son of Rusty Aubrey and Aleu, Tannis is more reserved and logical of the family, most likely getting it from his father. He's not afraid to do the right thing, even if it means going against his parents. More often than not, he's more than willing to help those in need, a quality from Aleu. He enjoys music himself, though he's not as passionate as his sister about it. After meeting Sirena, he's torn between the wild life he's always known and the girl he loves. Eventually they'll get together and have three pups as well: Anastasia, Sasha, and Alexi.
Species: German Shepherd-Alaskan Malamute (dog hybrid)
Voiced by (if made into a movie): Vin Diesel
Pic: (But only with cataract eyes)
Profile: Vance is a blind malamute-shepherd mix suffering from cataracts and an unknown illness that's slowly killing him, but there's more to this dog than meets the eye. He's a master thief, but always seems to look out for the well being of others. He grew up on the streets with a brother figure, a czechoslovakian wolfhound named Erik, and later the borzoi, Sirena. He's the leader of the Shades, but leaves the group in Sirena's care as part of his last will. At a music festival, he meets and falls in love with Bryn Aubrey, despite her parentage and connections with the law. Later he gives up his criminal ways and lives the rest of his time with Bryn and her family, adopting a wolf lifestyle for the sake of his mate and future pups.
5. Sirena Szatowsky
Species: Borzoi (Dog, AKA Russian Wolfhound)
Voiced by (If made into a movie): Samantha Barks
Profile: Sirena is native to Russia. She doesn't remember much of her past before coming to Nome, but falls head over heels in love with Vance after meeting him. She loves her humans, but doesn't feel as loved by them as she believes she should. When Bryn and Vance fall in love, Sirena feels neglected and jealous. In her jealousy she attempts to kill a dog she thinks is Bryn, but it really turns out to be Tannis, who, to her surprise, befriends the young wolfhound. She helps Vance out on his jobs and she loves to sing as well. Things get bad however when she takes full blame for the murder of Steele in order for Vance to get a clean slate and a head start. After an intervention from Tannis, Erik agrees to let her go and she escapes from being put down. Tannis is the father of her three pups: Anastasia, Sasha, and Alexis.
6. Erik Roberts
Species: Czechoslovakian Wolfhound (Dog)
Voiced by (If made into a movie) Benedict Cumberbatch
Profile: Erik was abandoned as a pup, found by Kaya, Vance's mother, when he was very small, so it's quite possible he might be a wolfdog mix. For years, Erik and Vance worked together like brothers, but after the death of their close friend Paul, followed by the murder of Steele, Erik was taken in by a cop off the street and trained to be a police dog. He quickly turned against Vance and Sirena and hunts both of them down rigorously. He believes that criminals don't change, that he's the only exception to this. He's rough around the edges, but he means well. As of right now, he doesn't seem to have an interest in a mate and family, but who knows what the future awaits our lonesome Inspector?
Alias: None, with the exception of all the disgustingly cute nicknames his mother comes up with for him
Species: Pomeranian-Scottish Terrier mix (Dog)
Voiced by (if made into a movie): Daniel Huttlestone
Pic: (as a puppy)
Profile: Pavel is a close friend of Bryn and Tannis. He's a puppy, a little less than a year old maybe. He's Dixie and Jacques' son, and hopes to become a police dog like his dad. Who knows, it may just happen.
Alias: Old Jack
Species: Scottish Terrier (Dog)
Voiced by (if made into a movie): Robert Carlyle
Profile: Jacques is an old friend of Rusty's, as he was inspector before Rusty came to town. His owner is now the Police Commissioner and as such, Jacques gets some of the perks too. He's somewhat old, but very young at heart. He's wise, and isn't afraid to tell his officers like it is. Despite his police background, he's not a very hard dog to get along with and is usually very pleasant to talk to, and has a nice sense of humor. He sees the good in everyone, though many think he's naive for believing that. He's mates with Dixie and they have a son named Pavel.
I got some new characters planned for the next story. Here's a sneak peek at a couple of them :)
Species: Wolf-Dingo-Borzoi (super wolf-dog hybrid)
Voiced by: (if made into a movie) Jodelle Ferland
Profile: The daughter of Tannis and Sirena, Anastasia grows up in Nome with her parents and is pretty popular around town for her quiet nature and shy demeanor. She's a lovely young lady and is seen as always being Tannis' little girl. Her dad is her best friend, but she's got other friends too. Her world turns upside down when she meets Todd, a local psychiatrist's Irish Wolfhound.
Alias: none for now
Species: Irish Wolf Hound (dog)
Voiced by: (if made into a movie) Cillian Murphy
Profile: Todd is a shy, quiet dog, despite being so tall. His breed happens to be the tallest in the world, but don't let his size intimidate you. He's a gentle soul, and has a soft spot for young pups. He does his best to help people and, like his owner, tries to help solve other dog's problems by giving them someone to talk to. Ana is the first friend he made since coming to Nome and the two are very close. Eventually, they may just pair up.
Species: Russian Silver Fox
Voiced by: (if made into a movie): Louise Brealy
Profile: Vulpecula is the first fox to be introduced in my series, and I don't think she's gonna be the last either. Pecula is the long lost lady love of Erik, the Czech Wolfhound who, at least in this story, has recently stepped down in his role as inspector to take a look at some of the choices he's made. Pecula and Erik were in love for a long time, but when Erik found out she was stealing money for Vance's medicines, he had no choice but to lead her out of town, seduce her, and, inevitably, leave her in the woods alone. Time will only tell if she'll ever truly forgive him.
Well I hope you guys enjoyed reading up on some of my characters. I hope the links work...please read my stuff and review thanks a lot
