Greetings fellow FanFictionerds!
I reside in Canada and am going into the first year of my undergrad. I'll be majoring in Biology and minoring in English.
I don't really consider myself a truly remarkable person nor do I think I'll some day "be the next so-and-so". I always try to do things to satisfy myself (or the people I'm emotionally involved with) and I find that strangers have a lot of say in how we view ourselves. From standardized testing, the books we read, music we listen to, magazines and things of the like to the things that we allow ourselves to be influenced by.
What I've learned is that sometimes it's okay to not give a crap about what other people think. Sometimes, it's okay to give a crap.
More often than not, strangers give us false reflections about our efforts/abilities/appearance etc.. We end up believing what they say and even let it draw boundaries in our minds, constricting our capability to do more that we're 'able' to do.
This is one of my ways of saying, "TO HELL WITH YOUR OPINION!"
I like writing Twilight FanFiction and that's the end of that.
You're entitled to your entitlement my dear sirs and mademoiselles.
It hasn't been very conventional, now that it's 2013, to write FanFiction about this series, however I'm determined to find an outlet to house my stories and to practice my writing.
I'm looking for an ACTIVE beta, if you are one/know of any please let me know if you'd be interested in helping me out.
Thanks and enjoy your reading!
