Hi, Scruff the Rat here.
Welp, I am not going give away too much info about myself but I am going to lay down on the line that I am a serious lover of Hey Arnold! Actually, a long time before arnoldshortman's episodes on Youtube got removed, I rediscovered the series by accident- one of the greatest accidents I ever made. XD
However, don't expect Hey Arnold! stories to be the only stories you'll see on my profile. If you want to find out more, then you'll have to keep tuning in. Yes, I know we're on Fanfiction and not a TV show, but I had to say something witty. ;)

Here's list of OCs who have appeared, will appear, or might appear in my stories. I'll be updating the list from time to time. By the way, I have ownership of these guys, so come to me first for permission before you decide to use any of them!
An immigrant from Tahiti and a fellow boarder of the Sunset Arms, she is a devout mother who's willing to take a bullet for the people she loves, especially for her son. She doesn't like Oscar, though, and isn't afraid to put the rat in his place, even though she can get a little carried away doing that at times. With a black-belt in karate and an expansive knowledge of machinery (thanks to her days as a racecar driver), she is one woman you just don't want to mess with.
Sadly, she's also had a rough life, the worst part of it being the loss of her husband. Coping has taken her some time, but she refuses to let that keep her from being a good mother.
On an interesting note, she's dated people of various personalities and even orientations and there are some rumors that she might like-like Mr. Hyunh...but good luck getting any confirmation out of her.
Ladies, watch yourselves because this man taught the Devil everything he knows! You may not remember his name but you sure won't forget his charms and voice! Hailing from the jungles of San Lorenzo, this guy seems like the type of man that can only exist in dreams or adventure novels. Gutsy, suave, big-time joker--this man is something else!
Be cautious, though, Diego isn't exactly the most honest person and definitely has the heart of a thief. How else could he have survived in the jungle for so long?
Oh the madness this man will bring to the boardinghouse...
He's kind of like the Jimmy Neutron of the world of Hey Arnold! Okay, so he doesn't have a cool underground lab, an awesome rocket, or a robotic canine, but having a techno whiz for a mom counts, right?
Milo's also the silent type. He may not say much, but so what? He's got a sketchbook with a plethora of drawings that do the talking for him. Problem is that he's also a bit of a recluse. Aside from Arnold and maybe Gerald, Milo keeps a firm distance from everyone else...well almost everyone else.
In secret, he's forged an alliance with Helga G. Pataki, who he revers in a way for her conviction and strong will.
All in all, he's sort of like a male version of Namine (Kingdom Hearts).
Mr. Hyunh's first wife and Mai's mother, she died from stray gunfire during the Vietnam War when she and her husband, Yiang, took their daughter and tried to escape their village in Saigon. She perished from saving them and her death has hung over her spouse's head for years. Mr. Hyunh feels like there is a bit of Hue that he sees in Bonnie.
Bonnie and Hyunh's daughter and Milo's half sister, she has her father's emotional eccentricity and her mother's prerogative and temper. She tends to feel out of place in both her biological family and her boardinghouse family due to the majority of her family members having done or doing extraordinary things. Helga, more or less, is sort of an idol to Heirani, who usually takes the wisdom of the older girl very seriously.
Sonic the Hedgehog:
Ozzie Edgar Burroughs:
Born in a city in which the citizens revered the geologic processes of the planet, Ozzie, at the tender age of 5, lost both his home and his parents to a mysterious epidemic, which he and very few others of his kind escaped through cryogenic sleep.
Silence has always been Ozzie's way, even before the incident. He's also become a bit of a loner since entering adolescence, especially when he's around animals that aren't moles. This isn't to say he's antisocial and cold, though. In fact, Ozzie is quite sweet and considerate deep down; he's just socially cautious.
10 years after waking up from his sleep 300 years into the future, a run-in with the Sonic Team introduces Ozzie to a new group of young people who help him come out of his shell. In general, Ozzie gets along well with Sonic and friends, especially Cream, who views the worldly mole as a sort of brotherly figure. Amy Rose, of course, animously volunteers to "take the big guy underneath her wing." At the least, poor Ozzie has his hands full trying to stay on his toes thanks to this pink hedgehog.
As far as powers go, Ozzie's abilities are a cross between those of Terra (Teen Titans), Golbez (Final Fantasy IV), and Prishe (Final Fantasy XI).
Kingdom Hearts (World Matrix):
Crazy--this girl is just crazy. She's practically like Bobobo in her own right. She's got her share of issues, though, just like Sora, and a rather sad past to boot. Half human and half...something else, this girl holds powers that even manage to frighten her sometimes. Some of her enemies claim that Hamster is the "herald of the end" but such a statement is most likely no more than a mind-trick.
Hamster is very "Sonic-like" in her philosophy of "living out each second to the fullest."
A woman of horrifying powers and frightening intellect whose origins remain a mystery. She is the head of the Divine Court and is easily recognizable by her porcelain white skin and sterling silver and white robes. The clothes underneath that robe, for some odd reason, resemble those, as well as the armor, of Master Eraqus. Why this is also remains unknown.
However, what is certain about this character is that she, along with her court, is seeking an ancient secret confined deep within World Matrix, the "soul" of Hamster's universe.
Rise of the Guardians:
Leader of the Lost Guardians, Father Time, due to Pitch's magic, has completely lost contact with Nicholas. Thankfully, though, this wizened warrior still holds control over the timestream, through which he can examine what has occurred so far on the other side. Due to the crucial need for the timestream to be maintained, however, Time is a man of frequent solitude and has an air of reserve that tends to be mistakened for coldness. In reality, he is merely a lonely man that tries his hardest to enjoy the time he spends with his teammates, whether in conversation, in battle, or in training.
He wields his trusty scythe when in battle and proves himself as an even deadlier opponent when he taps into his time manipulation.
Love hurts--Cupid can tell you that better than anyone. In spite of being a patron of love and her "cutesy" appearance, this winged archer can be quite sarcastic at times. Regardless, she knows how vital of a part love is to human existence, especially to children. In fact, with her arsenal by her side, Cupid insures that hatred will not corrupt the bonds a child holds with friends and family.
Her arrows are more than just for show and hearts. With arrows fitted for a variety of purposes and a temper to set her off, Cupid is more than willing to show you just how much "pain" love can dish out.
There are some implications that there's someone on the original side, waiting for her return, though it is not quite clear who...
Her personality is very similar to that of Helga Pataki.
Roy G. Biv:
Guardian of light and the inspiration for leprechauns (as well as St. Patrick's Day), this bantam man is responsible for maintaining the colors we see everyday. As such, he is responsible for the appearance of rainbows, auroras, and other color-related phenomenon. In addition, each color grants him a different ability, which he can use in combination as well for whole new powers.
Much like Father Time, Roy is a level-headed man of deep wisdom. However, in contrast to Time's modesty, the Irish Guardian can also be boastful at times, poking jokes at his teammates, especially Cupid, much to the archer's chagrin.
Hally O. Ween:
Surprisingly enough, the spirit of Halloween is the optimist of the group. That isn't to say she's blind, but rather she is well enough in tune with the bleakness and darkness the world can offer that she can look past it all and still believe in a brighter future. Even so, she is well familiar with Pitch and no doubt holds a level of resentment towards him due to the fact that he stole some of her creations.
Just like her holiday, Hally is a trickster at heart but has powers and weapons that can leave her foes trembling in fear: the power to summon monsters and an arsenal of Halloween-themed inventions, such as the Jack-o-Bombs. According to Cupid and Roy, this woman is the epitome of the word "crazy."
They may have a point there.
She speaks with a noticeable German accent in times of stress or when deeply upset.
The Guardian of Laughter, he'd once been a general (Sir Coo) in Pitch's army, brainwashed in a moment of weakness after a falling out with Bunnymund. Fortunately, thanks to the combined efforts of the Lost Land Guardians and Nathan, he regained his former self.
He carries a rapier in battle.
More familiar by the name "cooties," these creatures, created by Sir Coo by accident, tend to be more of annoyances than actual threats. However, in large enough numbers, they can pose as a serious asset due to the sparks of humor in children. Some were even left behind on the original side after the Lost Guardians and Coo were sent away.
A Pooka and Bunnymund's long-lost godson. Jezebel and the Queen spirited him away to Lost Lands after the destruction of the Pooka village long ago, but he later escaped thanks to the Lost Land Guardians.
Mr. Hyunh: Do NOT be shocked if you see stories loaded with this guy here. He is just one of those minor characters who just appeals to me so easily! My only beef is that Craig never gave him a girlfriend. Cliche of me? Yes. Do I care? Not so much.
Helga G. Pataki: What can I say? I like a lady with attitude.
Amy Rose: I also like ladies who are a little nutso! XD
Shadow: Professional badass...enough said.
Rouge: What is it about this bat that appeals to so many people? Her form? Her personality? Her ambition? Maybe it's a toss-up between all three. They sure did their magic on me, that's for sure.
Vector: Oh wow...I don't care how many times this guy's voice changes. He's just a perfect combo of scales, manliness, and straight out absurdity.
Dark Gaia: Let's face it: I consider him unique. He's not evil because he chose to be that way, unlike Eggman. He's evil because it's in his nature and, unlike the Zeti, being the villain is part of his duty as a force of nature. There is so much untapped potential for character development here, in my opinion.
Wulf: Badass wolf ghost with reality tearing powers and a hoodie--seriously, I need a plushie of him!
Alex the Lion: Sorry Simba, but the King of New York owns!
Marty the Zebra: He's one of those characters who really makes me think about how we view our lives, especially when we're older.
Shifu: Love, self-disappointment, wounded pride-- this red panda master is a grand example of character development.
Tai Lung: A sad example of pride, disappointment, rage, and ultimately defeat.
Wolf Boss: I find this pooch to be...something else. On one side, yes, he is, indeed, very intimidating and fierce. On the other side..."super soft cuddly face?" Quotes like that really make you take another look at this guy's personality.
Monkey: Watching a Jackie Chan movie and Legends of Awesomeness has made me realize how likable I find Monkey and his various voices. He's a strong fighter yet he's not afraid to joke around with his friends, especially Po, and his voice actors all give him this laidback mischief-maker vibe that appeals to me instantly.
Po: To be honest, the big guy took a while to grow on me. But now after my own experiences in life and seeing both movies, I've come to appreciate the panda's character better and understand why he was chosen to be the Dragon Warrior. His cute plushy tummy may or may not also have been a factor in my decision.
Riku: Honestly, if he's a little emo, then I honestly don't blame him. Being possessed by the Heartless of some darkness-obsessed sicko...? There's no way a person can't get scars after going through that. Plus, he kind of reminds me of Marty due to his desire to see other places.
Kairi: She's kind of like the Princess Peach of Kingdom Hearts (even though I've never played Mario). Come on, though. She's got to be tougher than Square Enix gives her credit to be. Nomura, give her back her damn Keyblade already!
Master Eraqus: My reason for faving Eraqus is not because of how respectable I find him. It's his obsession with light...it makes me wonder how he would take monsters born from light instead of darkness.
Claire "Lightning" Farron: Like I said before: ladies with attitude, although I can't help picturing her as somewhat of an older, icier version of Helga...with pink hair, of course.
Sazh Katzroy: In a way, he reminds me of my dad--funny, caring, understanding, and just plain goofy! I also appreciate how he's the voice of reason for Lightning's team.
Don Patch: This guy practically lives on attention. Just like me! XD
Master Splinter: Seriously, this guy and Shifu would've been great friends. I find rats very cool, anyway, and he's a very sweet father to his sons.
Leatherhead: He's like a smarter and more mature version of Vector. Poor guy, though. Having to wrestle with inner demons and being cut off from his family...
Nano: My heart always aches something fierce whenever I think about that little bot. :(
Exile: Da, I love that husky. He's kind. He's smart. He's blue. He's strong inside and out. And he can kick the bad guy's tooshies, too.
Beast Boy: Dude, this guy rocks! Green changeling, party animal, prankster--my kind of pal.
Raven: She simply fascinates me for some reason. Dark, mysterious, gloomy...yet there's something about her that makes you just trust her right off the bat.
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot: Animaniacs--need I say more? XD
Baloo: A bear of carefreeness the likes of which no one has ever seen...Besides, he's so plushy!
Buck: Honestly, I think I have a soft spot for characters that are a bit touched in the head. Let's not forget how brave and daring he is, too!
Beauregard Rabbot: Bunnie's uncle and one of Eggman's Grandmasters from the Sonic Archie Comics--I can't get him off my mind for some reason...
Bean the Dynamite Duck: Honestly...there are no proper words to describe this bird. O_o
Bunny (aka. E. Aster Bunnymund): What can I say? I like rabbits...and Austrailian accents.
Lotso-Huggin Bear (Lotso): Personally, I am of the opinion that this bear recieved a rather open-ended punishment. A tragic villian like him, to me, should deserve a bit of compensation.
Cheshire Cat: Some fancy him; others do not. As for me--I fancy a twinge of him in yours truly as vice versa.
Ripred the Rat: Strong, tough, deadly, wise, razor-sharp intelligent, sarcastic...and at the very center, a heart of pure gold--you don't forget a gnawer like Ripred.
Basil of Baker Street: Oh Basil, you clever, sexy mouse...how do you do it, foiling the schemes of masterminds like Ratigan?
Professor Ratigan: And you, Ratigan...you suave, cunning yet twisted, immoral mastermind--no one proves a better adversary for Basil than you.
Remy: Rats don't get enough love in my opinion, especially those whose struggles inspire you to pursue your own dream in life.
Raven Baxter: So she's not a cartoon character--her personality is still awesome and her hijinks are both enlightening and freaking hilarious!
Elsa: She embodies both self-empowerment through her struggle to be herself for once in her life and unconditional love through her efforts to protect Anna, even if it means isolating herself. Let it go indeed!
Olaf: And Olaf...Oh, Olaf. His innocence made me want to laugh, cry, and hug him all at the same time, especially when he said, "Some people are just worth melting for."
Katara: It occurs to me I have a weakness for water-based characters, especially those with angst-filled pasts. Plus, a little North Pole sass never hurt anybody.
Lapis Lazuli: Please see above. Geez, I hope she becomes a Crystal Gem later on.
Peridot: I should not find a green, diamond-haired gem with detachable fingers relatable...and yet I do. Curse you, fanart and fanfiction!
Haruhi Fujioka: There's so much of myself I see in her. She simply wants to be herself and work as hard as she can to achieve her goals, regardless of what others say. An admirable character in my opinion.
Mr. Peabody: There are no words that could do this dog or my love for him justice. None.
Arnold/Gerald--My heart aches whenever I read about or listen to these two arguing. :(
Milo/Helga-- In my mind, Milo looks out for Helga just as she does likewise for him. After all, secrets can have a way of slipping out in the worst possible way.
Bonnie/Helga--In many ways, these two women are alike. They're both strong willed, opinionated, passionate, and caring people. In fact, Bonnie, in a weird sort of fashion, could be like a mother figure for our blonde dynamo.
Diego/Helga--Sadly, this friendship is tragically short due to Diego's untimely death. However, in my canon, Diego leaves behind a sort of impression that helps Helga solidify her belief that Arnold is the one for her.
Diego/Hyunh--Needless to say, these two are grown-men versions of Helga and Phoebe--Diego being the assertive leader type and Hyunh being the quiet, meek second banana.
Helga/Phoebe--Same as with Arnold and Gerald--these two are close enough to be like sisters. Girlfriends gotta stick together, right?
Gerald/Helga-- Quite possibly one of the most improbable friendships yet (at least to me)--they're both head over heels for the other's best friend, so eventually they'll have to come face-to-face and establish a common ground so they don't end up strangling each other in the future.
Sonic/Tails/Ozzie--I am going to have so much fun putting these three through awkward situations. Sonic's bravado, Tails' meek but sweet nature, and Ozzie's cynical sass make up for one crazy mix-up!
Ozzie/Cream--As much as I like the idea of Shadow being a father-figure for Cream, the little rabbit needs a male influence that is present more consistently. Ozzie can be that influence and protect her whenever no one else, including Amy, is able to.
Ozzie/Shadow-- The hedgehog and the mole may act similar, but, in reality, they are different like the markings on a pair of zebras. Ozzie is (a tad) more social and willing to accept the aid of others than Shadow is. The Ultimate Lifeform, on the other hand, is a total loner and tends to behave too seriously and strictly for Ozzie's taste. Regardless, there's a common ground of respect the two ebony Mobians hold for each other.
Antoine/Ozzie-- I just want to picture Ozzie as a cute little baby and Anty as the doting but also overprotective big brother. Come on! You have to at least admit that the idea of Ant being a kid's role model is somewhat amusing. X)
Cream/Amy--Sisters forever and sisters to the end--this duo almost reminds me of Helga and Phoebe.
Amy/Sally-- So Sally Acorn and Amy Rose are to be mortal rivals all because they have a love interest in common? Wow, if that notion isn't shallow then I don't know what is. Honestly, is the idea of these two being friends so hard to swallow? All faults considered, Amy and Sally have better sense (and better things to do, for that matter) than to waste their lives and time over something that's ultimately Sonic's choice.
Cream/Bunnie-- They don't interact frequently in the Archie comics, but I'm just fine with that fact. It simply gives me more room to work them in as close-knit cousins.
Cream/Antoine-- Yeah, even I didn't anticipate the possibility of the little bunny and the bumbling gentleman being friends. They're both Freedom Fighters, aren't they? And with Bunnie as an intermediate--thanks to being Antoine's love interest and Cream's familial friend (at least in my canon)--the two mammals would accept each very easily thanks to the ingrained courtesy that's second nature to both of them.
Sora/Riku/Kairi-- Ah yes, the original trinity of Kingdom Hearts--I can never stand stories that label any of them as wicked deep down, especially the stories that target Kairi. They all have good qualities, and they all have faults. Even after all their crazy adventures, they're three good friends who care for each other deeply.
Axel/Xion/Roxas-- I'm not sure which trio has a more tragic story--Axel, Xion, and Roxas or Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. The three Nobodies only wished to spend their days together, eating ice cream and joking around. Yet what do they end up with instead? Being forgotten, having to wear the mantle of treachery all because of helping a friend, being hunted down like a sick dog...Curse you, Xemnas--you and your crooked Organization.
Terra/Ventus/Aqua-- Their story is probably the closest Kingdom Hearts ever came to becoming a classical tragedy. Even more, the trio acted like an actual family, so watching all of those ending scenes proved especially heart-breaking. I only hope these three unfortunate souls receive the long-overdue, happy ending they deserve one day.
Sora/Roxas-- No, this pair does not count as being "friends with oneself." Roxas is his own person, not some doppelganger husk hanging around in Sora's mind. And who would understand this point better than Roxas' own Somebody?
Kairi/Namine-- My argument for Sora/Roxas is the same for down here. These two stick together like glue (and not just because they share the same heart). Besides, Namine can be hard on herself when certain past mistakes rear their ugly heads at her, so she needs all the support Kairi can give her.
Hamster/Lightning--Lightning pretty much has her work cut out for her catching up with a friend like Hamster, who's of the opinion that the pinkette needs to chill out more. At the core of the insanity, though, the two of them are like sisters in how they look out for each other.
Tony/Bruce-- The more stories I read for these two, the clearer this friendship becomes for me.
Marty/Alex/Melman/Gloria-- The "Fab Four" of New York--to Mother Nature, they are quite probably the strangest bunch on the face of the Earth. Oh sure, the quartet has its fights (between Marty and Alex in particular), but in the end the team remains as one no matter what.
Marty/Vitaly-- As I worked on "Trust Me," I began to realize how similar Marty and Vitaly are. They're both aged men, endured heart-breaking failures that dragged their pride down to the lowest of levels, and have to face new changes in Madagascar 3. Only problem is that these two interacted scarcely in the movie.
I intend to fix that.
Alex/Simba-- In all honesty, I don't believe I'll ever get around to fashioning a story around these two being friends, much less an excellent one. Regardless, the cuteness of this friendship pairing manages to make me smile every time I think about it.
Po/Tigress-- Couple or no couple, Tigress can give Po a healthy dose of reality or a sensible pick-me-up whenever the big lug feels down whereas the goofy, loveable panda can show that cat how to laugh and relax.
Po/Monkey-- These guys are so alike, it's not even funny--well, okay, they have hilarious chemistry in the show, but seriously, Monkey considers Po "family". If that doesn't tell you how close they are, I don't know what will.
Po/Wolf Boss-- I like Po and I love the Wolf Boss. Wolfy needs friends like Po, especially after all the trouble and woe he and his pack have been through thanks to Shen.
Bunny/Nicholas-- Sometimes the connection feels tense; other times it feels playful. In any case, these two Guardians (unlike a certain winter spirit) know when to stop. They respect each other and only poke fun at each other for a good, honest laugh.
Jack/Hally-- Hally is a prankster at heart, just like Jack. She knows the kid only wants to have a little fun and understands the sort of affect prolonged loneliness exerts over a person. Therefore, she treats Jack as both a student and a son; like North, she showers him with affection and protects him with the ferocity of a mother bear but becomes stern when the situation calls for such or when Jack oversteps a boundary.
Cupid/Tooth/Hally-- I said it before and I'll say it again--girlfriends gotta stick together.
Cupid/Bunny-- They drive each other nuts, call each other names. One doesn't mind helping Jack prank the other. The other hates when that one helps the pesky winter sprite with pranks. Ever since day one, there's always been a sizzling tension between Bunnymund and his sassy-mouthed stepdaughter. Even Tooth, usually so understanding, can't count the number of times the arguments between Cupid and Bunny made her want to rip her hair--er, feathers out.
All in all, the two Guardians appear to almost be immortal rivals. The keyword is "appear." In reality, they're as close knit as Hally and Jack are. They're just not used to being openly emotional in public, particularly when Jack is present.
Bunny/Sophie-- I just can't help but feel that the friendship between Bunny and Sophie never received enough screen-time in the movie. Being around the litte darling brought out Bunny's softer, kinder side, which brought out a painfully wide smile on my face...
Cupid/Ralph--Since Bernadette Peters is the voice actor for my character, Cupid, I'm going to do a little reference somewhere down the road for a certain cartoon from my childhood...
Bunny/Jack Frost-- I'm usually not picky between these two being a couple or being just very close friends, but I've grown attached to stories that portray them as having a brotherly sort of bond.
Bunny/Jack Skellington-- In all honesty...I have no idea of the damage control Bunny would have to do on account of this Jack's vivacity and childlike curiosity.
Bunny/Mr. Peabody--If not for AO3, I would've never thought of these two being friends. Sad part: I've found only two stories that involve them together. They would complete each other so well as friends, what with both of them being multi-talented, crazy-smart time travelers.
Ralph/Vanellope--They are just so...them. They come from completely different games yet they click together so well.
Conan (OC)/Ralph--There are definite trust issues that need to be settled between these two, particularly on Conan's part. Fortunately, Ralph is more than willing to make a real friendship with his smaller self possible.
Conan/Vanellope--Conan develops a friendship with her faster than with Ralph since they're both kid characters. However, Vanellope helps him realize his mistakes in treating Ralph as an enemy and, with Ralph's help, opens his eyes to life being more than about following one's own functions.
Vanellope/Cupid--They're more alike than they think, but first they need to resolve their issue of sharing a certain wrecker. Ralph's in for a world of headache.
Cupid/Jack/Nathan--As the youngest of the Guardians, these three tend to group together often, Cupid's gritty and protective personality and Jack's mischievous yet curious ways and Nathan's starry-eyed, peacemaking demeanor balancing each other out.
Mole/Rat--Their friendship is simple yet strong and steadfast, not at all unlike the waters of the River.
My Favorite Pairings (and Sort-Of-Favorite Pairings):
Arnold x Helga-- Oh Craig, why, oh, why did you allow the show to leave all of its fans on such an eternal cliffhanger? Thank my personal God that we have Fanfiction to make up for this atrocity!
Rhonda x Harold--Up until I started visiting Deviantart years ago, I never considered these two as a couple, much less as friends. However, now that I've seen artwork based on and read fanfiction about this pairing, I simply can't bring myself to dislike the idea of the fashion diva hooking up with the secretly soft-hearted knucklehead.
Hyunh x Bonnie--Their story is a tad complicated, but I'll explain it to the best of my ability.
Ever since Diego's death, Bonnie has been on this "pledge" to never fall for anyone ever again. At first, this pledge sounds unreasonable (and it is when viewed from a logical perspective), but it shines light on the fact that Bonnie is overprotective of her son Milo. Prior to meeting Diego, Bonnie's luck in snagging a reasonable guy was as far from the definition of "lucky" as it could get. All of them turned out to be either sleazy snakes in the grass or alpha male macho men--like a certain Beeper King-to-be, for instance. Such ill fate is why Bonnie treated Diego so cynically at first and partially the reason for her current reluctance to fall in love with Hyunh.
She knows that the man is sweet, loving, and caring; she knows that he's just as much of a wonderful person as Diego was.
Hyunh feels the same way about her. The only problems for him are his need to reunite with Mai and the approximate 20 year age difference--Bonnie is 29 and he's 48. To him, no self-respecting woman would ever want to waste their time on such an "old fossil." Plus, both he and Bonnie dislike the idea of replacing Diego, especially where Milo, Bonnie's son, is concerned (despite the other knowing that they share the same fear).
Overall, there's really no telling where their relationship will go...but one aspect is certain: Milo and the rest of the family aren't going to let this problem go without a fight.
Lila x Milo-- Even though this pairing doesn't really heat up until Milo and Lila are teenagers, the whole dynamic between the sweet, gentle, optimistic country gal and the realistic, sarcastic, mellowed out artist possesses a unique appeal to me.
Sonic x Amy (to a degree)-- I have to admit; this pairing is kind of sweet. On the other hand, I also believe that there are plenty of other guys who Amy could choose instead of Sonic. Besides, the Blue Blur already has a love: freedom. He is virtually the wind himself: wild, powerful, confident, and ever-moving. Although I'm glad Amy seemed to understand that fact during one of the Sonic X episodes, there's still the possibility of Sonic never reciprocating the rose's feelings.
In fact, this pairing sometimes reminds me of Arnold and Lila. Like how Amy wants Sonic to be hers, Arnold wishes the same from Lila, even though she, like Sonic, never completely or genuinely returns the affection in kind. Both the country girl and the Blue Blur try to be nice, but in the end neither side in either couple gains anything besides annoyance or disappointment.
Shadow x Amy-- Sonic's darker, moodier counterpart and Sonic's cheery number one fan--the zest of such a concept is too juicy for me to resist.
Tails x Cosmo-- Those two are both so gentle and sweet, and I adored how Tails became the poor dear's rock during Sonic X.
Tails x Cream-- Cream tends to be a touch more assertive than Cosmo (even though the Seedrian had her moments as well), no doubt a result of being around Amy so much.
Vector x Vanilla-- How this pairing manages to make me go "Aww" and bust a gut in hysterics at the same time befuddles me to no end--and I couldn't care less. Oh Vector, you and your ill-fated attempts to woo Vanilla...XD
Vanilla x Beauregard-- A wizened cowboy rabbit with a cybernetic arm whisks his way into town on a mighty, majestic beaut of a horse. He catches the eyes of a kind, delicate-looking mistress standing off to the side, her figure protected from the harsh noon sun by the shadows of the awning right above her. The cowboy dons a careworn yet jubilant smile and tips his hat off to the lady, who merely blushes and tries in vain to hide her giggles.
A Southern/Western gentleman of past battles ballroom-dancing with a lady lapine who hardly knew war and was raised to act with courtesy and respect...such a simple yet profound pairing...
Amy x Ozzie--All of you can say whatever you want, but Ozzie cares for Amy deeply, even though the rose has no idea of those feelings the mole holds towards her. In fact, Ozzie hides his feelings by teasing Amy from time to time, although his motives aren't as hard to see for Sonic and the others.
Shantotto x Hudson (Gargoyles)-- Uh...would you guys believe me if I said the Tifa/Riku pairing inspired this? Especially after I watched a music video about said pairing that used Fray's song "How to Save a Life"? My brain has not even the slightest clue how these two would meet outside of World Matrix.
Oh well, I'll just have to try and find out.
Alex x Gia-- Ah, sweet, sweet amor! Alex and Gia are such a quirky yet lovable couple! Now if only Vitaly could stop breathing down their necks (or at least Alex's)...
Alex x Marty-- Honestly, I think it's pretty easy to ship these two once you put everything they've been through together in a different context.
Vitaly x Natasha (OC)-- As part of my story "Lost in Fire," this couple shows up quite often to help the plot along. Now that I'm finished with the story, I can't help wondering at what the future holds for them...
Classified x Corporal-- I blame Tumblr for getting me hooked on this pairing.
Po x Tigress (to a degree)-- Po's sweet-guy personality and Tigress's fiery, righteous-minded perspective balance each other out, so I undersand why this pairing appeals to a number of people.
Tai Lung x Tigress--This pairing, on the other hand, brings a whole new dimension of red-hot passion for me! The smooth-talking villian with the quick-tempered heroine--people had better watch out!
Monkey x Viper--A fanfiction I favorited a long time ago proved to me how Viper and Monkey can click together quite effortlessly. The former is sweet yet passionate; the latter, comical yet empathic. Monkey listens to the tatooed beauty as words recount her pain and rage at the past. Viper falls into hysterics as jokes spill past the primate's lips like water from the Yellow River.
Po x Wolf Boss--Believe it, I enjoy this pairing very much, all thanks to the incomparable Cool Kat!
RJ x Ozzie--Does anyone else think that Ozzie ogled RJ a lot in the movie? Well, even if he didn't, Ozzie's more mellowed out and responsible personality could really balance out RJ's energy and boldness.
Vincent x Abby (OC)-- Not only is Vincent a grump with an attitude that would make Disney's Pete proud, he's also a sadistic brute who can't stand the idea of being bested by a "twerp" like RJ. Abby, in stark contrast, is a kind, forgiving, and gentle, if somewhat absent-minded, bearess. Though she appears to be a Mary-Sue at first glance, she can be surprisingly physical and even aggressive at times. She's dealt with bullies in her life before, and, even though she prefers to avoid fights as much as possible, she's got more than enough guts to stand up for what she feels is right.
Sora x Kairi-- The classical romance of a knight and his fair princess--I'm trying my hardest not to lose my voice from squealing too hard!
Roxas x Xion-- This pairing is more mellowed out than Sokai, but it also has its sweet moments.
Namine x Pence-- Pence is more laid back than Olette and a touch more sensible than Hayner. He might be a tad hard on himself, though. After all, Hayner is the leader and Olette is the responsible one that adults trust. Without Roxas, Pence might become a third wheel one day. Namine is sweet and polite but withdrawn and reluctant to socialize with others due to her past. The reason isn't so much that she's afraid what others will do to her, even though her experience with Organization XIII convinced her of the validity of said fear, but that she is afraid of what she herself will do to others. If Pence and Namine were at each other's side, the artist would have an easier time smiling and the chubby computer whiz, a stronger sense of confidence.
Riku x Namine--I have ForeverMagik to thank for getting me attracted to this pairing!
Terra x Aqua--It at least makes sense to me. They trained together, played together, and lived together. They practically grew up together!
Eraqus x Aqua-- Feel free to shiver at that! I find this pairing oddly hot! And no, it doesn't make sense...and I couldn't care less!
Lightning x Sazh-- Sazh always has Lightning's back. In Final Fantasy 13, he had her back. In Final Fantasy 13-2, he had her back. He didn't sympathize with Light's situation; he emphasized. He knows exactly how hard raising someone precious by oneself is. He understands how painful losing that someone is. Even if they can't be a couple, Light and Sazh are one hardcore team through and through.
Rikku x Kimahri--This pairing is rather rare, although I can imagine why with the wide gaps in age, culture, and species...and yet I couldn't care less.
Hamster x Larry-- Don't ask. Hammy, a woman living the dream, Kim Possible's cousin, a man living in a dream--unreal is the only word I have for this pairing.
Kim x Ron-- A very well-written couple, canon or otherwise...especially considering that it blows all of that social hierarchy crap out of the water.
Baloo x Rebecca-- I've seen some off-kilter couples before in my life...but none of them as screwy as that of Baloo and Becky. Oh my word, the pair is dysfunctional enough due to their personality clashes, but throw in some adventures and maybe even a certain handsomely devious captain and you've got a whirlwind of mayhem!
Raven x Beast Boy-- Raven isn't the type of girl who lets her emotions out freely. Beast Boy isn't the type of guy who bottles his emotions up until they're ready to implode. They're nearly absolute opposites of each other that have to endure living together in the same tower. Things could get quite interesting...
Tony x Pepper-- Pep's got the guts, nerves, and gall to deal with a man like Tony Stark. Now she just needs patience--a whole lot of it.
Tony x Bruce-- Science boyfriends...that is all...
Peter x Rocket-- And yes, let's throw in some space boyfriends while we're at it, too.
Daggeron x Madison-- What quality is it about a gentleman that adds such a soothing aspect to a relationship? And don't forget the fairytale aspect.
Cruger x Kat-- Whoever said "they get along like cats and dogs" obviously never meet these two. If only the people in charge of the story hadn't brung back Cruger's wife...
Haru x Ty Lee-- Shockingly, this pairing is relatively recent. I don't pay it much attention, but the reason for that is the infrequency of stories for the earthbender and my favorite circus performer.
Edd x May Kanker-- This couple tugs at my heartstrings because it's so...Shakespeare-worthy. Think about it. These two are practically Romeo and Juliet in a modern-day junior high school.
Nicholas x Hally-- Like Terra and Aqua, these two have been friends for a long time, even before they became Guardians. Nick (North), temper and impulsiveness aside, is the calmer of the two whereas Hally is the wild card in the pair. Only North, by far, is the only person who can possibly keep up with the zealous sorceress--and even then he, too, has troubles maintaining the pace.
Yet the two love each other deeply and genuinely regardless.
Bunny x Tooth-- Even before the movie came out, the idea of these two becoming a couple hung in my brain the same way dried-up glue sticks to your finger. Bunny's such a hardcore warrior while Tooth is daintier and gentler. Deep down, however, is another story. They're both fierce fighters, willing to protect all children of the world regardless of the cost.
Robin Goodfellow x Bunny-- In my canon, this pairing is doomed to fail from the start. For one, it was always one-sided before Robin became Coo, mainly because Bunny never even knew. When the Aussie does find out...let's just say he doesn't react too well to the would-be general's "secret". And for centuries after Coo disappeared, he lamented both his hasty reaction and the fact that he never apologized for hurting his friend's feelings.
On a side note, I cling to this pairing partially because Bunny's mistake inadvertently forestalled his chances of being with Tooth, because Robin meant to reveal his secret in an effort to convince Bunny to confess to Tooth without fear, not to mention that the Guardian of Memories refused to talk with the Easter Bunny after hearing about what happened.
The other reason...well, I never said I won't try a little slash between these guys in the future, now did I?
Sophie x Nathaniel Hopson--I got a bad feeling this will be one of these pairings I love to torture, much like how many people do with the Beast and Belle. I love the idea of an older, confident Sophie falling in love with a meek, overly polite ninja rabbit, but just letting them get together? That'd just be too easy.
Ralph x Cupid--Rita and Runt...they're the inspiration behind this pairing. It helps that Cupid and Rita have the same voice actor and that Ralph and Runt are both big guys with even bigger hearts. Unfortunately, the only way I think of them working out is if they're both on the same plane of existence (i.e., both being arcade characters or both being people in real-life).
Ralph x "True" King Candy--Another slash pairing, dig it. To be honest, this is more possible than you might think in certain headcanons. They can both be viewed as father-figures for Vanellope and they could come to an understanding of how being ostracized by others just because of what you are or your backstory feels.
Ralph x Mike (MotorChickenSmile's OC)--Very few canon/OC pairings capture the imagination or the heart as well as certain canon pairings do. This is one of them.
Ralph x Chocolette (GND-KicaCris's OC)--Two badass villains who are both softies deep down yet aren't afraid to shove back when they get pushed around...evil never looked so romantic!
Conan x Candlehead--You folks who have read "Reprogram" might have already seen hints of this pairing. Candlehead is such a lovable and unpredictable ditz, even though I like to believe she has her moments of deepness, while Conan prefers to play the straight man, making sure everyone around him doesn't get too carried away.
Bowser Junior x Vanellope--Whatever you do, don't ask. This has become a pairing for me for reasons even I can't believe...well, mostly at least. I can imagine Vanellope having a thing for stocky redheads with short tempers.
Basil x Ratigan-- These two are such egotists, they'd never willingly submit to each other...so why the hell do I keep loving the idea of these two sexy rodents being a couple?
Basil x Dawson-- There are so few pictures and stories of this couple, it's saddening. I am of the opinion that these two could go well together; after all, Dawson is one of the few people who Basil has fully let into his heart in so long.
Fluttershy x Discord-- Yes, I've been sucked into the MLP fandom and there's no going back for me! Especially with that cute little Pegasus and her draconequus along for the ride.
Mole x Rat-- As both a fan of Wind in the Willows and a manic shipper...I regret nothing.
Mr. Peabody x Mr. Jameson (OC)-- Mr. Peabody needs someone who can help him bring out his more emotional side, someone who's not afraid to bring the guy back down to Earth and remind him it's okay to take a breather every now and then.
