So, It's official, I've been here for over a decade.
And what fun it's been too :)
Age: female somewhere in my 20s
Education: I have my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and am currently in college trying to complete a PR certification. (I will tell you this relentlessly because I'm very proud of it.)
Job: I've had many, some just because I needed them, some to do with my field, some to do with sole purpose of improving other people's writing. My dream job is to edit fiction and maybe get to be that one totally awesome author's editor so I don't have to wait for the release date of their book to know the story :) Alternate: Promoting and organizing book tours.
Any story not written about on my profile is consider Dead, meaning I am no longer actively writing it but will keep it up here for archival purposes and mostly because I hate it when authors just delete stuff I've favourited, even if they aren't working on it anymore.
Now, (mostly on the insistence of my beta Mr. Ek.) I have embarked on a very ambitious project: a Tales of Symphonia/Harry Potter semi-crossover that's been banging around in my head for years now, but I have been finally persuaded to share with all of you *points finger*. This assumes you've played Tales of Symphonia all the way through and read or seen all the Harry Potter books or movies so consider yourselves warned for Spoilers. Thus far it looks like its going to be split into three separate stories:
But That Was In Another Country: Posted 08/05/12- This follows Lloyden Shasta Aurion on his journey through the first game, told from different perspectives and in a non-linear format. It's turning into an experiment on different writing styles and includes from stuff from not only the game, but the manga and anime as well. - Completed June 2013
Tales of the Two Worlds: Lloyden Aurion returns to Sylvarant after completing his sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Defeating the Dark Lord Voldemort only to discover someone is using his alias to wreak havoc on the worlds. Joining forces with two unlikely Knights of Ratatosk, can he clear his name and come clean to his friends about his true identity? - In Progress
Holly, Ash and Willow: In the style of part one, includes stories I couldn't fit into the general flow of the story including stories from the perspective of James and Anna, some important background information of my headcanon and the all important MagicReveal!- In Progress
Seafoam and Snowflakes: has been translated into Italian by Nettles Inis!,
You can find it here:
Memory Gems: Posted 15/06/12- A collection of stories centered around Kratos and Lloyden, from Kratos POV. Some extra stuff I couldn't fit into the main part and some writing exercises to flesh out both Kratos' character and his relationship with Lloyden in universe. (Previously called Blue Peppermint)- In Progress
Seafoam and Snowflakes: A Percy Jackson and the Olympians - Rise of the Guardians crossover I conceived and wrote after seeing the movie. Story is completed but subject the occasional Bonus chapter apparently. - Complete
Other places I hang out:
Did massive update on current stories: two chapters in But That Was In Another Country, a bonus chapter for Seafoam and Snowflakes, And a title switch plus update for Memory Gems (previously called Blue Peppermint).
Another Country is almost completely written, I'm just stuck on the last 3 chapters.
New Story idea: Percy Jackson and the Olympian fan fiction starring Amphitrite! See my tumblr for more info.
Things I've Learned Today: Apparently there is a line for critiquing in reviews. No more in-depth analysis from me I suppose.
BUT THAT WAS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY IS COMPLETE!!!!!! HUZZAH!
And I made a new friend - Sassenach082- Hi Sassy :). Go check out her stuff it's awesome. Especially Son of the Sea God.
