Hello! Some of you might know me as the anonymous reviewer S. My user-name is "Mystery-shrouded" because as an anonymous reviewer, I got a lot of comments back in the A/N section saying that I'm mysterious and all that... And I'm thinkin' am I that mysterious? o.0 Btw, I'm probably not going to be posting any stories due to my dislike of writing with deadlines... Make that any writing, I dislike English in general (though I like writing free-verse poetry). (What am I doing in a writers community? Three words: Reading and Reviewing. In fact, I can read a 300-paged book in three hours and have read almost 60 books from Sept. 2014 to June 2014.) Anyways...
Age: still in school
Ethic background: Asian :D
Family: mom, dad, and little brother (late elementary to early high school age) who I am worrying about his sanity :P
Favorite music genre: Christian... Don't judge me on that if you haven't listened to any contemporary music of this genre. Try Tobymac or Britt Nicole as a taste of some of the stuff I like.
Familar fandoms (in no particular order):
Favorite Pairings: I love canon pairings, but I am especially partial to the ones below.
Edward & Winry from FMA (My OTP! Don't really have an absolute favorite author for this one.)
General info: Uh... Well... First things first. Don't talk to me about actors or stuff like that. I'm basically culturally illiterate. XD
GENERAL REVIEW POLICY:
When it comes to reviewing, I tend to look a lot at the written capitalization, grammar, typos and spelling. I guess you can say that I'm a grammar Nazi. I really can't stand it if there is a lot of errors. Even when it comes to texting, most of my words are spelled out. Anyways, back to the way I review. I don't think that I'm very good picking out subtle OOC-ness or Mary Sue-ness. I have gotten better since I've started reading on fanfiction. I don't mind OCs. I think of them as a flavoring to enhance the fic. They shouldn't be the main interest in fanfiction. In fact, I have a few floating around in my head. (Hey, just because I don't like writing, doesn't mean I am incapable at creating new characters! XD) I'll post a couple that I think will fit in a broad range of fandoms. Once you get me hooked on a story, I'll try to review every chapter.
Anyways, I'm pretty understanding when it comes to late updates. I understand that real life can hurt and be stressful, so as long as you get back to a fic eventually I won't complain much. On the other hand, if I have you on my story alert and you don't update for 2 years, then I'll take down the alert. Usually by the two month mark I'll start to complain. Although, if you tell me on why you aren't updating, I'll back off some.
I love cannon pairings and am very strict to it. This also means that I dislike yaoi and yuri and incest and OC pairings with cannon characters. I don't know what it is about it that rubs me the wrong way... I spend most of my time reading FMA fanfics and X-overs. Which brings me to my next point:
I like reading FMA AUs, (I'm a sucker for well written AUs and crossovers) especially the high school ones or the abuse ones. Don't know why. I'm a big EdWin supporter and will read anything that has that pairing. I'm also good with facts (good memory allowed me to pass middle school without studying...) so if you have trouble remembering Brotherhood-related facts, feel free to PM me.
Oh, and if you have more than 9 fics that I like, I'll put you in my favorite authors. (Or if I know you in real life... XD Right wiz?)(Or if I find your profile funny.)
I hate it when people laugh and mock assemblies on bullying. To me, it means that the aren't taking it seriously. Bulling is a serious issue. IT IS NOT A LAUGHING MATTER. People don't realize that even if they don't see it doesn't mean it's not happening. To me, being an object of open scorn liaves you isolated. Even the people you call "friend" abandons you to the mockery. You become withdrawn; not daring to let yourself get too close to anyone, least the mockery returns... The after shock of such scorn keeps you from trusting anyone. Everyone becomes someone you can't trust. People say "Go get help", "walk away", "ignore it". They don't understand. They don't understand that the bullies follow you everywhere. You become scared of everyone--even the of the people who want to help you. Sound scary? It is...
Alright, now this is for all fanfiction writers. Especially those with bad grammar. All I have to say is, REALLY!? GAH! It just really grates on my nerves. That's what spellcheck is for! Seriously, even this site says to check your spelling and grammar! Here, I'll prove it!
Go under "Publish" (come now, let's not be lazy) and click on "Rules & Guidelines". Now under "Community Etiquette" read (yes, I realize that some of you don't read this part, or any of it for that matter) numbers 1, 2, and 5...
Seriously! If you take pride in your work and want people to respect it, fix those errors! If there's an error every other sentence, it makes you look like your still learning basic grammar that should've been pounded into your head in elementary school! (That's for all you people who have gone to American school systems since kindergarten. You are exempt from this if English isn't your first language. Even if it isn't, that's not much of an excuse...) And if your error are the difference between "there", "their", and "they're"; then you have a whole different monster to deal with my friend.
(Not usually like this...but it's a very serious issue to me...)

FMA Fandom Facts
The first time you see Sig and Izumi Curtis is not in chapter 19 or 20. They first appear in chapter 14 (and in the corresponding Brotherhood episode), when Winry first comes to Central. (They're in the background.)
May Chang can be seen at the Resembool Station in chapter 40, when Ed gets "kidnapped" by Major Armstrong to see Maria Ross. (You can Xiao Mei with her as well.)
Arakawa-sensei says that holidays like, Christmas and Valentines Day, doesn't exist in the world of FMA. (For some reason, I think that fact won't change many fanfic authors who write for these holidays...XP)
Despite that he doesn't have a body that feels pain, Al often says "ouch" or "ow" in the first few chapters of the manga.
