Writing is the truest magic I know.

I started off publishing X-Files fic back in 1997, though I've been writing things since I was old enough to hold a pen (i.e. longer ago than I care to discuss). I've also written for Gone with the Wind, Inuyasha, and Bones. I may eventually get around to uploading some of my older stuff here, and who knows--maybe someday I'll find the time to start writing new stories again.

My attitude toward writing is quite elegantly summed up in the quote below:

It does not simply consist of the author's telling a story about the adventures of some other person. On the contrary, it happens because one's own experience of people and things has moved one to an emotion so passionate that it can no longer be shut up in one's own heart. Again and again something in one's own life or in the lives of those around one will seem so important that the thought of letting it pass into oblivion is unbearable.
