It has been quite a long time. So sorry for the long wait, I know I promised some of you that I would post a looooooong time ago. However, life has been exorbitantly crazy in the past couple of years. We'll leave it at that. I have a NEW STORY posted. I'm still working on knocking out all of the kinks in the plot structure, but it's coming along nicely. We won't mention that I've been working on this story for over two years now... There will be OC's, and I hope that you grow to love them just as much as I have. And hopefully the plot won't be too predictable...

Hello again. It's been quite a while... but I think I have some good news for you. Along with a recent move to a new country, I have resurrected my old AR works and started writing again. I have one short-ish story nearly finished, but it needs quite a bit of polishing before I post anything here. My hope is to start posting somewhere in October (but no promises). It is in the Starting Anew universe, set in the future a bit. Right now, it's six chapters long, so really, not that long. Since I'm a student though, I'm not sure how much time I'll have for writing (especially since I am now taking all my classes in a non-native language... rough times), but I will do my best to give you all something. Hey everyone, long time no see. *cough*it'sbeenayear*cough* Sorry about that. Unfortunately, I don't have any brilliant news for you. My computer crashed last year, several months after finishing Starting Anew, taking all of my stories with it (including the couple that I was working on for AR and my own original works). Following that, I had a busy summer and absolutely no inspiration to write more Alex Rider, or anything else for that matter. Losing everything just kind of kills inspiration (BEWARE! BACKUP YOUR WORK!).

If there's anything in particular that you'd like to see, let me know! I'm always looking for little inspirations.

So, Starting Anew is now officially finished. I am astounded by the response I've gotten from you guys. From the depths of my heart, understand that this story couldn't have been the same without all of your feedback. Even those just telling me that they really enjoyed reading the story. You all helped so much more than you can ever imagine, and I thank you for that.

That said, I'm toying with a couple of ideas for one-shots based on your reviews, and also the ideas for another full-length Alex Rider fic. I don't know what all is going to happen in the next couple of months and weeks (especially since I'm at university), but I can promise that there will be a one-shot coming out by the end of the month. If you have any other one-shot ideas, feel free to PM me or just leave a review.

So keep your eyes open for... THE TARGET.
