Hello there. I'm a college freshman/insomniac whose writing status is practically dead, due to lack of time and expertise, etc.
A few years ago, I was flamed, but after flaming my flamers back, I grew to know them. Mouse showed me that my stories were lacking and how important it was to follow canon.
So I thought that I wouldn't write or publish anymore fanfiction unless they were worthwhile and followed the canon as closely as possible.
I still enjoy reading fanfiction, no matter how non-canon they get. So perhaps instead of completely ending my writing career, I might just write stories to myself. That way, if I write stories over time, I can improve and learn to find constructive feedback before publishing.
But still, I'm going to delete my previously-published stories at this time (because, honestly, they embarrass me.)
I typically read fanfiction catering to my preferred fandoms (mostly anime, LOTR, HP, and some movies).
I enjoy Japanese pop culture immensely. I remain a strong anime and manga enthusiast, but due to lack of funds, I rarely buy those kinds of items. Lately, I've been more obsessed with Japanese pop and rock music, such as Dir en grey, Gackt, Miyavi, the Gazette, Ai Otsuka, Mika Nakashima, Ayumi Hamasaki, Pierrot/Angelo, AnCafe, etc.
So basically, I love music, movies, Adobe Photoshop, and my relatively-new iMac. Thanks.
