Author has written 16 stories for Naruto, Bleach, Outsiders, Highschool of the Dead, Tuck Everlasting, Hunger Games, and Sucker Punch.
Writing is like a symphony. Every sentence is needed to explain the plot, like every instrument is needed to play the piece. The music starts out smooth, like the first paragraph that introduces you to everything. When the climax comes, you don't expect it, but you enjoy it anyway. And when it ends, you feel indifferent, but you want to feel what you felt before.
Hello there, fellow readers.
I'm Reika Hyouden, and as you can see, and this is my profile.
I find myself writing most about Naruto, but I would like to write more fanfictions of different categories.
In my spare time, I like to play guitar and piano, along with a good book here or there.
So, like many other people on this website called Fanfiction, I have a best friend whose penname is Airi Shirokuro. Please visit her profile if you're looking for a good laugh, or even just looking to read a little drama-filled fanfics.
What I Write
I enjoy writing Angst and Hurt/Comfort, if I had to point out a few genres, albeit I also like writing Adventure for my chaptered stories. Don't get me wrong, I'll write humour as well; if I'm in the mood for it.
What I Read
I usually find myself looking in the Hurt/Comfort and/or Romance category when I'm searching for a fanfiction to read. I enjoy reading chaptered fics, but angst oneshots are great too.
My Likes and Dislikes
Stories with great plots are enjoyable and honourable. I like stories that move me; not like all the other fics that waste your time spending half the day trying to figure out the plotline. There are few stories that I actually feel like laughing or crying, but those fanfics are certainly review-worthy. And I don't usually review a lot. I frown upon stories with poor plotlines and no detail what so ever. I recommend that those stories get revised, so the author doesn't seem more ignorant than he or she already is. And authors whose stories that are flamed many times should actually read thorugh that certain story again; or else other people will have to take control. I mean don't act like this world is full of illiterate time-wasting fools. But readers don't usually find those fanfics, for they have already been removed or revised, which saves their sanity.
To be truthful, I like a good AU story-when it makes sense. Most of the great stories here are from previous years, and those are the ones I read. I tend to get excited when I find an enjoyable AU story made in the current year; mainly because I need to be refreshed with new plots and new writing. If an AU fic doesn't make sense and is too naive, I shrug it off, and find a new one. I myself like writing AU.
I get my ideas for plots from my actual life, and the news that is travelling across the world. Occasionally, ideas pop into my head, and I don't know where they come from. But hey, that's around the time the best ideas flow out of me.
Life is a song. Play it.
