Author has written 2 stories for Hetalia - Axis Powers, and Dragon Quest Series.

I am WaterJinx, and I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I've been on a long hiatus, so I am deeply sorry for taking so long to continue my Dragon Quest story. I've been busy finishing a degree (with a double major plus a minor, so I had a lot of homework). I have just started graduate school and will hopefully have a PhD in the next few years. Because of this, I'm afraid that I might not be able to get chapters up in a timely fashion for a while. I plan to write more as a study break, so I fully intend to have the next Dragon Quest chapter up after this next weekend. Again, I am sorry for the long wait for publishing.

Now, for the descriptive portion of this profile:

I am a graduate student working toward a PhD in linguistics. Since the discipline is not the most commonly known, I'll give a quick summary of it. Linguistics is the scientific study of language. Basically, it covers the study of grammar, sounds, language change, meanings, social uses of language, scripts, language learning/teaching, and MUCH more. It's a very broad field. If it has to do with language, then you can assume it falls under linguistics. I am not a polyglot (I am not fluent in multiple languages) and fluency in multiple languages is NOT a requirement to become a linguist. However, I am studying several languages for a basic reading knowledge and hopefully future fluency. Also, a lot of people are afraid that linguists will be irritated by the use of "poor grammar". Although everyone has their pet peeves when it comes to grammar, linguists tend to be excited to hear a person's dialect and quirks. Goodness knows that I have many quirks in my speech (at least, that is what my friends are constantly telling me).

Hobbies: playing videogames, watching anime, writing, sewing, studying languages, and I am looking into tinkering with electronics. I also draw some, and I used to play the piano.

Languages: German, Japanese, Classical Greek, Latin, Spanish, and Irish Gaelic. (These are languages that I have studied and have some basic knowledge in. I am only fluent in English, but I hope to be fluent in all of these languages someday.)

Favorite Games: Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Harvest Moon, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Avalon Code, Sweet Fuse, Corpse Party, 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors & Virtue's Last Reward, and Rune Factory.

Favorite anime: Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailor Moon (Crystal), Noragami, Dangan Ronpa, Blue Exorcist, Kamigami no Asobi, Soul Eater, Puella Magi: Madoka Magica, Angel Beats, Hamtaro, Another, Kenichi: the Mightiest Disciple, Sgt. Frog, Hetalia, Daily Lives of High School Boys, and Fairy Tail.

Favorite Music: Classical & Celtic

I want to give thanks to all my readers and reviewers! I particularly want to thank those who have helped me with my stories, primarily Hiddenintheshadows and InvaderSugar! I love getting feedback and I hope that my stories continue to please people. Thank you all again so much!

Two new keronians have been assigned to the A.R.M.P.I.T. Platoon. What skills and trouble do these girls bring with them, and why are they really on Pekopon? Rated for a purple hothead with a swearing problem. No plans for pairings, con criticism welcome!
