Hi! I haven't written much fanfic in years... and I haven't gotten out a 3,000 word one since, well, the last day of 2005 now. I apologize for the poor quality of my past fics. Writing original fiction is what I tend to write nowadays, and I have improved through this, but I'm still learning a lot. It's nice to do HP fanfiction every once in a while, and I sure read it a lot.
No One is angsty, and I'm sure any future fics will be dark. I like writing them, oddly enough. I wrote No One at 11pm-2am, so although it is editted, I'm likely to go back and go "Ahhh! So much work to be done on you, one-shot!" Like most of my fics. --changed to a threepart story--
I'm working on a Ginny centered fic, an AU all the way back from book 2. It would go through all her years and more. It's a definent darkfic, but she's still innocent little Ginny for a while there. I'm not typing it up, however, until I get through at least all of her first year. I'm trying to make it as close to canon as possible, for the first few books, which means I'm going back through and skimming for Ginny references. I'm really busy in school, so I don't expect it to come out yet. Anyways, here's a likely summary and title.
The Price of a Happy Family:
“Charms! Charms make everything better! Happy!”
Every child has a choice: to follow in their parent's guidance or to strike out and rebel. Funny what playing ignorance does to the only one who's willing to see what's there. In her mother's effort to make Ginevra Weasley perversely happy, she turns. The one woman who has ever survived an encounter where Voldemort wants to kill her, she strikes out to make her own road... not on the nice, neat path her world wants for her. AU darkfic.
As for me, I read almost anything, although I don't care for slash, and don't read femmeslash. I like dark/light pairings because no matter how cute you may be able to write R/Hr, or H/G, there's nothing like canon, so I stick to that for those pairings. I've been reading for around 4 years, and I think it helped me to start writing.
Please read and review "No One"!

Ever Understand the Bathtub... (Sequel to No One.)
Summary: Hermione never bottled anything away. Too forgiving. Instead, she poured it in her mental bathtub. Now she needs to open the drain.
