Update 2022-05/05: There isn't any NEW update. They're almost finished with chapter Twenty-One with an indeterminate amount of chapters left. They gave me a word count for the most recent chapter... it's just under 10k and Chapter twenty-two is going to start off in an irritating way to make up for there being no real cliffhanger. I also gave my younger brother some lines from it and he told me it sounds like a crack-fic. That worries me a little, and Oreiayean didn't like hearing that either. We're really going to stay positive though that the comic relief is relieving for an otherwise tense chapter. (There's a big blowout. NLMG is a HPxTwi xover and Harry isn't exactly himself in this "OOC with a purpose" fic.)

Update 2022-04/24: Oreiayean is almost done with Never Let Me Go. I'm excited with this. They updated me about what's going on with that story... It'll be restricted (I'm being given a censored version here when it's finished) and it got darker than I had intended it to be. Yikes... From what new chapters I've read, it's good. I'm not regretting my decision to hand over the stories to Oreiayean. Scroll down a little and you'll see a longer update there.

Update 2022-01/23: ANY is a dead account for posting stories. I realize that I cannot join AO3 nor can I ascribe to their filtering/searching system. Do you know how frustrating it is searching for xover fics and getting bombarded with irrelevant search results because people don't tag their shit correctly? It's way worse on that site.

Update 2020-06/18: ANY is pretty much a dead account. Oreiayean on AO3 will be taking over after everything is done being rewritten. Some stories may be scratched forever as they were doomed from the get-go. (SxA Awake and DBD Ai Teng; can personally say that SxA "HPSA" is off to a confident rewrite under Oreiayean, but that too is not posted yet.)

April 24, 2022 -

Oreiayean apologized to me when they asked that I remove NLMG from FFN. Why, you may not have asked but I will tell you anyway? When they were rewriting the story, they got stuck, but the inspiration stick smacked them, and they continued where I had left off. I am a little angry about that, but, whatever. That's why I'm going to be allowed to repost. It will be censored because anything over an M rating is risking removal. DBD's original account had a story removed without warning before 2005. SxA teetered the line with a scene in HPSA and Oreiayean removed that from the story even though AO3 wouldn't have had a problem with it. (Oreiayean loves AO3, asked if I wanted a referral, I gave a loud 'No'.)

I had a slip up with a negative review. I'm kinda numb in my fingertips and lips, so, there's that. Oreiayean told me that, at this rate, they hope none of my original readers come back. (I told OR30 if they had a problem with my smart mouth, they should really not keep trying to get me to join AO3. Know what that ass told me? Author moderation lets even signed in reviews get deleted. I wanted to kick their ass. OR30 then told me that there's an AO3 Writer's FB group where snarky comments are captured and made fun of there and they were hoping I'd be a star. Can I just say that I am very happy that Oreiayean is treating my story with all the TLC it deserves? Even after knowing I am an asshole in real life too?)

March 5, 2022 -
Quick update... 1. I've taken a step back from reading and writing fanfiction and I had not allowed myself to review anything until I learned to just stuff it. I left what I feel was a genuine constructive critique on a fanfic recently (I was quite proud of myself for having done right and it had not been malicious) and I felt this deep embarrassment when I got flashbacks to how I was ruthless and needlessly harmful to many others on this site. I had no right. I have an earworm taunting me with Linkin Park's Figure.09 "I took what I hated and made it a part of me". I used to enjoy every little flaw in fanfics because sometimes it was endearingly obvious that some of these careless mistakes were made when the muse was playing a wonderful siren's song. And those little flaws made the story that much greater. I used to get flames for the most petty of errors in the beginning and I knew better. I had no right to become this unenjoyable nightmare that drained the excitement from so many.

2. I feel as if my nasty behavior was a major contributor for why I fell out of love with one of my favorite stories, NLMG. Which I did end up letting go. The harder I beat up on others, the more stifling I became of my own work and I deserved that. I AM SORRY FOR ALL THE HURT I'VE CAUSED. None of you deserved that bullshit from me; none of you did anything to warrant that malicious behavior.

3. Oreiayean has let me know that mEatsuits is turning out to be heavily influenced and inspired by NLMG, but save for some copy/paste elements in the first chapter, will be entirely separate from NLMG. That being said, Oreiayean felt like people who enjoyed NLMG here, deserve to have that version completed and will post that (still nowhere near done, but just updated me on progress) first under an ANY pseud on AO3, then post the rewrite immediately after (this will be more Draco/Jacob centered), and then post mEatsuits. I have been welcomed to repost NLMG after they've finished completing the original NLMG. They did change a major element to what was wrong with Harry, and I won't say what because I was soooo shocked. But that was for the rewrite. ;)

January 23, 2022 -
Oreiayean is still in the middle of rewriting NLMG, Awake, and HPSA. There is talk that they will be discontinuing Ai Teng. But I do know that part of why Oreo is having problems rewriting NLMG is because they're thinking of writing a story inspired by the one I wrote. Oreo is more DracoxJacob obsessed so... It's slated to be called mEatsuits. I've been promised that won't be posted until my NLMG is rewritten and posted.

September 9, 2016 -
I have since deleted Never Let Me Go and Awake. I'm not sure if anyone really noticed, but when I was writing NLMG, as the story progressed, the chapters became shorter and my writing had become sloppy. I thought long and hard on it and I haven't lost my passion for fanfiction, just for NLMG. Everything was coming out very forced and I realized that was why it was becoming extremely difficult to write.

If I ever decide to continue NLMG, it'll have been completed and most likely posted all at once.

As for Awake, I was falling into the same issues that SxA had been. I'll be damned if I continue that path. This story has a plot that has a lot of twists and turns and it's meant to make you think that you know who is at play, but then get blindsided. SxA and I had everything all planned out (including the first chapter for unfinished Awake's sequel), but the original idea (with these twists and turns) made it a little too twisty and turned into a writing flop. So I scrapped that and will not post Awake until I have it 100% finished.

To be honest, I care more about my adopted stories than NLMG. Awake has always kept my interest, even before it came into my apparently incapable hands.

For everyone who reviewed and followed NLMG, I sincerely apologize for having kept you waiting since June 18, 2014. It's been over two years since my last update and I feel like a major letdown to all of you who had been eagerly awaiting for an update that never came. I'm sorry.

It's supposed to be that way, and hopefully, I'll have done a good job with giving you reason without outright explaining why. Oh, and Harry will be a bit on the strong side. If you don't like a strong Harry, I recommend you read my original story, Never Let Me Go. He's a total cry baby because he's completely mentally depleted as a consequence from the war. ;)

Here is a list of conducts that should always be observed:

Spell check all story and poetry. There is no excuse for not performing this duty. If you do not have a word processor that has the spell checking feature, use a search engine such as to find one.

Proofread all entries for grammar and other aspects of writing before submission. 'Hot off the press' content is often riddled with errors. No one is perfect but it is the duty of the writer to perform to the best of his/her ability.

Respect the reviewers. Not all reviews will strictly praise the work. If someone rightfully criticizes a portion of the writing, take it as a compliment that the reviewer has opted to spend his/her valuable time to help improve your writing.

Everyone here is an aspiring writer. Respect your fellow members and lend a helping a hand when they need it. Like many things, the path to becoming a better writer is often a two way street.

I did not write the above rules. FanFiction.Net did. You have to accept that before you publish a new story, every freaking time. Just because you fail to follow directions, does not give you the right to get pissy at me for giving you much needed criticism. I did my part, now why don't you do yours?

I'm not

expecting everyone here to have amazing spelling or grammar skills. (I'm not perfect either! I make mistakes too!) But what I do expect, from a story that is posted on this site, is that you at least attempt to fix up your mistakes. And if someone points out a mistake in a review, take it with pride. It is then up to you to either acknowledge you screwed up or fix it and then replace that chapter with the errors fixed. It will not delete your reviews. So I don't see why you have to be so lazy about it. I know that I encourage my mistakes to be pointed out to me, and I will fix them because I want my readers happy; I don't want my readers miserable when they are trying to enjoy a fanfic they like.

This is a review I was going to give to Lisi the slayer for her story, Rejection of Love can kill you, but she couldn't handle it and blocked me. Since she is so damn sore and I feel like it is necessary for me to say this, I'm going to post up the review right here:

(2022-03/05) I just deleted the review I had written at one point and was proud? to have written it? It's been a long time, a couple years, and I am so damn disgusted and ashamed of myself. I am leaving the above whatever because 1. Despite the errors, I strongly recommend that fanfic. It was mesmerizing and I couldn't stop reading it and ENJOYING what I was reading. 2. I am leaving the above statement because the entitlement would be a great indicator of how vile my unposted review had been. I had no right to talk to Lisi the slayer the way I had in my "reviews" of that story's chapters. (And I know I was a major asshole to many others on here and I don't think I'll ever be able to apologize enough.)

Please, if you're going to anonymously review my story, leave an email address so I can respond back! If you can't take the time to create an account or leave an email, then don't bother reviewing. (Obviously, that'd be a waste of your time as well...) This is true for proper etiquette for literally any and every other fanfic you encounter on this site and any other site that fanfiction is shared.
