"O impotent Estate of human life,
Where Hope and Fear maintain eternal Strife,
Where fleeting Joy does lasting Doubt inspire;
And most We Question, what We most Desire."
"Now, Emma, now the last Reflection make,
What Thou would'st follow, what Thou must forsake:
By our ill-omen'd stars, and adverse Heav'n--
No middle Object to thy choice is given."
- Henry and Emma, by Matthew Prior.
If weeks (months?) go by and I haven't updated, it's only because I'm suffering from writer's block. I won't ever abandon a story without notifying my readers - all five of you.
Finally working on an update for Fire and Ice. So -- to anyone who might still be checking my profile -- stay tuned for an update.
I might also continue writing my 'Rizzoli & Isles' piece, though it is more likely that I will start a new story altogether for that fandom, if the inspiration strikes me.
