Author has written 4 stories for Naruto, and Vampire Diaries.
Hello fellow writers and readers :)
I won't mention my real name, but you can all call me Emmz. Writing has been my passion ever since I was little. To me, writing is a kind of escape from the real world. I get to create my own world with my own characters, I get to put them in different situations and I always get this satisfaction of knowing what will happen. It frustrates me sometimes, not knowing what one decision will lead to, not knowing the outcome of the choices I make. Of course, sometimes it's okay to not know some things, because not everything is meant to be known. But in the case of writing, I love the safety I get from knowing exactly what is going to happen. It gives me a chance to change what should happen, it let's me make the best use out of a situation. I'm an author who writes stories with a happy ending, and it gives me comfort to know that no matter what challenges my characters have to face, they will all eventually get a happy ending.

The year 2014 has changed me. And with a change in how I view things, my writing style has changed as well. My story "Puppy Meets Werewolf." (PMW) is a story I wrote about two years ago when I had a slightly unhealthy obsession with The Vampire Diaries series. I can't really remember how the decision to turn Caroline into a puppy came to me, but I remember how excited I was when I finally wrote the first draft of the first chapter. After publishing it, I decided to hit the sack, and when I woke up, I had more than a dozen reviews, favorites and follows and I was beyond happy. I felt pride swell up inside me, and I felt like I could write anything. My first few reviewers were extremely supportive and they saw originality in my story and it was because of all my supporters that I decided to continue writing. You guys made me feel like I can and I cannot thank you enough for that.
When I look at the first chapter of PMW now I feel like it's cringe worthy. The break up between Tyler and Caroline was so cliché, I winced. Lines like "Goodbye Tyler, I hope your happy." Are the sort of unoriginal lines that I really wish I had never added into the story. It's not just the first chapter, there are many things I wish I could change, and I know I can simply go back and edit them, but I've decided to keep it that way. So that years later maybe, if I ever decide to write a new story, I can look back and know where I went wrong, learn from those small mistakes and improve.
I try to keep my characters as in character as possible. To me, characterization is key. I've recieved positive feedback from you guys, letting me know that my characters are not OOC, and it makes me really happy to know that I've done justice to my favorite characters. But before I write a character, I do reaserch in them. I mostly refer the Vampire Diaries wiki and short clips on YouTube to get a grip on what my character is like. And thought I do this, I still feel that the Originals in PMW are a bit...mellow. If you take the time to study the Mikaelson Family in canon, you can tell that they a very...unstable family. The only normal person in the Originals in my opinion would be Elijah. But other than that, the rest of the siblings, Klaus,Kol and Rebekah, are extremely unpredictable characters who kill because of boredom. All three of them are easily angered and selfish. On the upside, they have a sense of humor (as twisted as it is) that I use to my advantage. I write in the Humor genre, and in certain chapters I mainly focus on the comedic aspect. But sometimes I tend to go overboard and end up making them seem...harmless, when really, they are extremely dangerous. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten that Finn is also part of the family, but he hardly holds any significance to the series, and frankly his character bores me.
Unfortunately, I have no updating schedule and I mostly write whenever I feel like it. As I mentioned before, writing is an escape for me and I mostly do it for fun. I do feel like I have an obligation to this story for the sake of my readers and I try to update stat once a week. But with school and other extra curriculars I tend to put my writing on hold. I might have angered a few of you because of this, and I would like to apologize for this. I will try my best to update whenever I get the time. Writers block is another problem I have, and it takes time for me to brainstorm.
2) A Refreshing Change.
This is an idea that I've been entertaining for quite sometime and I finally decided to publish it in this site. Although it didn't get 14 reviews on the first chaper like PMW, I feel like it's a story that Kol lovers would enjoy. My main reason for writing this story was to explore Kol's character more, because his is one of my favorites. I'm not completely against the idea of Kennet, I think that it's cute in a way, but I don't see Bonnie as the kind of girl Kol would fall in love with. Her hatred for vampires runs deep and it isn't someing that can be erased easily. Especially with a wild and unpredictable vampire like Kol, who says, "I'm really itching to kill something." ...yeah not going to change Bonnie's viewpoint. I prefer Kol with an OC. Preferably a human OC. Someone who is defenseless and afraid of Kol, but with an attitude that could keep Kol entertained. Of course she won't be afraid of him for long... They'll warm up to each other...eventually.
I intend to show you all the different sides to Kol. So far I've only written his fun happy-go-lucky side in PMW, but in A Refreshing Change (ARC) you'll see my attempt at bringing out his dark side on occasion too.
3) Abducted. -by Jagger.
A few of you might be aware, that this account had been shared with my friend Jagger for quite a while. Her story Abducted is a Naruto fanfiction. She has a talent for writing, but I think she lost her muse somewhere along the way and this story just didn't get the love it deserved. It would have been a nice story if she had continued, but she discontinued and hasn't been using this account. I don't want to delete it because I have no right to do so, considering the fact that this is her story and not mine. So I'm keeping it up for anyone who would like to read.
