Author has written 49 stories for Sherlock, Harry Potter, and Sherlock Holmes.
Huge fan of Harry Potter and Sherlock currently. I help moderate an online Harry Potter discussion group, that is currently quiet as there's no action in the HP World, so have time on my hands ...
Wife and Mum of two teens - who think I'm extremely weird for taking an interest in Fanfic at all - but especially what I'm into. At least they get me sorted online!
The "I'll Be Mother" Community and forum "Mrs Hudson's Kitchen" were started by Mum/Moms with an interest in anything and everything Sherlock.
Anyone with an interest in anything Sherlock is welcome to drop in for tea and biscuits, anytime or check out some great fics by Mums and Moms, from around the world.

Have been writing some short stories lately based on the Sherlock series. Really, really enjoying it, but a bit gutted not to be getting many reviews so far - especially thanks to Maura Manette for being the first - a proper critic too, no gushing, just good sound advice. Unfortunately the chapter she reviewed was saved in the wrong place!!! I'll get there eventually, so now is attached to the wrong piece of writing since I saved the correct one ... sheesh!!
Anyhow, having fun writing again after too many years not, so shan't give up ... yet ...
Do give feedback - it's the best way for us to learn. I'd prefer a line of critical to a whole paragraph of gushing, it's more useful and I know then that you've actually read it. I'm happy with SPaG reviews - not telling me about a typo is like your friends letting you go to the party with your knickers tucked into your skirt. PM me with any requests, anything you'd like to share, more in depth comments ... all welcome!
I started with a story to give the lovely Dr John Hamish Watson a love interest and have got hooked ever since. The early Sherlock stories I have written all go together and interested readers should read them in order, for them to make sense and not to trip over spoilers.
The ordering for the stories so far, is as follows:
1. The 'Other' Woman Chapters: 5 - Words: 11,614
New case and romance involving Dr John Watson. Set sometime after the Reichenbach Falls and after Sherlock has returned from the dead. Introduces a new character who may or may nor be Dr Watson's future wife.
1a. The Other Woman's Point of View Chapters: 1 - Words: 2,226
WARNING: Don't read if you've not read The Other Woman. It won't make sense & is full of spoilers for that action story. Written as one short, from her point of view, but divided into 'chapters' that correspond with Dr Watson's perspective. I hope that it answers some questions by previous readers.
2. Date or Dare Chapters: 5 - Words: 6,357
Dr Watson has met a young woman who he has feeling for, but who treats him like a 'friend of the family'. Sherlock, who has been consulting her on a case, is fed up of them bickering and suggests they sort out their relationship.
3. Christmas Exchange Chapters: 1 - Words: 630
Short drabble on Dr W's relationship with a young client of Sherlock's. Stands on own, but better to read background in other stories ... no slash, no adult content.
4. How We Begun Complete
This is set between the Other Woman and The Switch. If I were you, I'd not read it before reading the Other Woman though it might be useful stuff when reading the Switch.
5. Ever So Lonely Chapters: 1 - Words: 221
221B of the angst kind. Watson's fiancee has been abducted and Sherlock is keeping things from him. From a deleted scene from a main story. One swear word at end.
6. The Switch Chapters: 1 - Words: 221
Follow up story to the Other Woman. Dr Watson's fiancee has gone missing and no one seems that bothered about trying to find her. He has received several warnings about her past but he is more concerned about getting her home safely than whether she is who she says she is. Some scenes of violence and torture.
7. Underground London Chapters: 3 - Words: 6,504
Finally ‘outing’ of my OC - love interest for Dr Watson. This is where she gets unmasked, and I either have her shot or ...
I'm an avid She-lock
I’d like to dedicate the Other Woman series of stories to several fanfic-ers who’ve really encouraged and inspired me since joining this site but especially to the She-locks in Mrs Hudson’s Kitchen:
Ennui Enigma who is my inspiration in the Conan Doyle realm and is a great friend as well as tutor;
AlessNox, who is an avid Sherlock fan and whose energy and enthusiasm shines out in her own story writing. She gives the best advice and pointers and knows soooo much about so much. I’m going back and making some changes suggested by her, so nothing is static. Hope you agree they are improvements;
JohnsArmyLady who shares an interest in the lovely Dr W but is prepared to share him and has inspired me to keep writing after a lull;
MapleleafCameo who is my Canadian kindred spirit and - 'you can't have him, he's mine!'
Lucy36: whose humour and good nature are inspiring
Also, in no particular order:
Gollum4077 who has sparked an interest in fanfic communities and been patient with my lack of know how;
My first critic, Maura Manette, who got me interested in grammar and punctuation again;
ChurchRoofGirl who also loves throwing in the odd lyric;
ChandlerMarie89 for just being you and keeping me going when the reviews were thin on the ground;
pinkfreak805 who inspires me as a fellow Christian who can step outside the box.
Potty about Potter
Hi to all my fellow Potter fans! Having such fun sharing with you all and promise to write more.
General Disclaimer: I do not own the characters portrayed in any of my fanfic stories. All for fun and not for profit.
