Author has written 2 stories for Star Wars.
I've been a reviewer on here for several years, never posting a story. Uninterrupted came from feeling like The Clone Wars didn't give us enough P/A. I still feel that way, but I've come to better terms with it. I'll be the first to admit it's a total fluff piece, though.
I have written a Lily and James piece, and posted it on Harry Potter.com message boards over a decade ago, but I'm kind of ashamed of it now. It was super short, and cliche', and I don't know how to fix it to do it and the characters justice.
I might start writing one-shots, because I don't what to tie myself down to a big long fanfic. I've had an idea churning in my head for a while for a little story between Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, (specifically, Edward's birthday,) but it may never actually get written down.
Favorite Pairings in no particular order: Edward and Bella, Anakin and Padme, Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy, Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley, Lily and James, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, Ana and Christian, Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester, and more recently John and Jane Clayton from the most recent Tarzan movie.
I really feel like movies/shows don't have enough love stories of established relationships. There's always the big kiss at the end, and that's it, and that's just so not real and not exciting. I'm interested in the relationship after the newness wears off. It's why I'm not a fan of Nicolas Sparks books/movies. That's probably why I like Padme and Anakin in The Clone Wars. We already know they love each other, so it's about navigating a relationship in a galaxy that's falling apart. And a relationship that we know is doomed, but not for lack of love.
I'm a hopeless romantic (though I've never been in a romantic relationship), and that tends to have an effect on my writing, which will hopefully grow, if I get inspired, and come up with new ideas. I imagine things that could happen to existing characters, I just don't always know how to turn it into a real fan fiction.
I wrote Remorse after my re-watch of The Clone Wars when we found out chronological order. I feel like a lot was left unresolved in the Clovis storyline, especially since we know Anakin and Padme were actually at a pretty good place in their marriage at the beginning of Revenge of the Sith. I've discussed it with other fans, and of course we can talk all day about Anakin's issues and why they led him down his dark path, but in that particular situation, all of the fans I talked to feel that some of the blame was on Padme.
As for my Favorites, I tend to only place completed work in my favorite list, although there are a couple exceptions where they were never finished, but they're so good I kept them anyway. And some of them I keep because I'm desperate for them to continue. I do follow a lot more stories than I favorite, though.
