I love House of Anubis, Victorious, and iCarly. I am a HUGE fan of Victoria Justice, Brad Kavanagh, Ana Mulvoy-Ten, Alex Sawyer, Burkely Duffield, and Bobby Lockwood.
House of Anubis-Joy:
I hate how everyone makes out Joy to be this lying, manipulative, boyfriend stealing, bitch. People were doing it in fanfics before Season 2 was announced and they've been making it worse ever since. In fanfics after Season 1, Joy coming back and trying to get back together with Fabian seemed pretty interesting, but having her trying to steal her from Fabian became cliche. In Season 2, everyone hated her just for the fact that she liked Fabian. Most fans knew that just from watching the first season. You could tell that their was possibly something between them. Joy probably had a crush on Fabian for years before Nina even came into the picture, yet no one seems to understand that. I just can't understand why people hate/hated her so much. Yes, in a way, she tried to break up Fabian and Nina, but they were broken up when Joy really tried things. She even told Nina that she "doesn't steal boyfriends" and she'll leave Fabian alone if the two were still "Fabina-ing" And Nina basically gave Joy a free pass for Joy to after him saying, "There's no Fabina anymore," and "Fabian's a free agent."
As for the Nina and Joy rivalry, to be honest, I personally think Nina was the one to truly hate Joy first. And why? Because she liked Fabian. Just that fact. And she admitted that before Joy had tried anything.
As for the article on Nina, yes Joy was out of line with that, but unlike most people, I can see why she wrote it. She was hurt. She was hurt and betrayed by all her friends and for different reasons. With Fabian, yes she had a major crush on him, but for the most part, all she really wanted was to hang out with him. I mean, she was forced to leave because Victor, her dad, Mr. Sweet, etc. thought she was the Chosen One. She had no way to contact her friends and spent her days playing chess on the computer. Of course she would miss spending time with her best friend. It's the same with Patricia, but they all were basically not around throughout the season. Yes, it was for the mystery, which brings me to my next point. Not letting her into Sibuna. Joy was basically the reason why Sibuna started. If it hadn't been for her disappearance, Patricia wouldn't have sent Nina into the attic and most likely would have found the panel. But they still didn't let Joy into Sibuna.
As for Amber, it seemed in Season 1 that Joy and Amber were good friends. She was excited to talk to Joy on the video chat Victor had set up and it also seemed like she really cared for her. But in Season 2, Amber was quick to join Nina's side and hate Joy because the girl liked Fabina, which I'm sure Amber knew from the beginning.
And overall, Joy felt betrayed because everyone seemed to take sides with the girl who replaced her, though they knew her for not even a full year and Joy for multiple. I think Joy resents Nina because she really did replace her as Fabian's best friend and a lot of other things.
But no one seems to think about that. Everyone's like "Joy should get a life and get over it" Well, don't you think she would want to. It doesn't take a day to get over a crush, especially one that lasted years. Do you honestly think Joy would want to like a guy who fell in love with a girl he knew for barely a year? You can't help who fall for. It wasn't Joy's fault she liked Fabian and it wasn't Fabian's fault he fell for Nina.
So everyone making Joy out to be this spiteful bitch needs to learn that everyone has a bad side. How bad the bad side is depends the person. Everyone has a bad side and everyone has a breaking point. The person we saw in Season 2, that's Joy bad side, her alter ego, her evil twin sister, her hurt/betrayed/hateful/depressed side. A girl who was never happy. And despite her bad side, she would never in a million years threaten or physically hurt anyone. You can tell she's not that type of person.
Stop comparing Victoria, please.
I'm really sick and tired of people comparing Victoria, Ariana, and Liz. Ever since people found out that Ariana and Liz could sing, a lot of them starting saying mean things about Victoria and her singing. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I think it's unfair to always be trashing Victoria. They all have their own voice and their own sound. No one is going to sound like anyone. Could you imagine Ariana singing 'Freak the Freak Out'? Cause I couldn't. I mean, yes I agree that Ariana and Liz are better singers but they were on BROADWAY, so of course they have to be amazing. Victoria didn't come from a musical background and she does perfectly fine. Victoria's is deep (not manly) and sultry and great for pop and rock. Ariana's is high and powerful and is great for pop and a little hip hop. Liz is strong and smooth and great for Indie and acoustics. Sure Ariana and Liz's voices are stronger and more powerful, but in my opinion, Victoria has more potential.
I also hate when, mainly on YouTube, people will go on Victoria's videos or songs and comment saying 'Ariana better' Do you see or hear Ariana in the video? No. So don't mention her.
And most of all, I hate it when people say Ariana should be the star of the show and it should be called "Catorious of ViCATorious". First, that doesn't even make sense and second, the show was created for VICTORIA. They were already discussing it while she making Zoey 101. Victoria was the only cast member that didn't have to audition to be on the show. So if Ariana didn't audition, she wouldn't be Cat. And the show is about TORI and Tori finding her talent and being accepted into a performing arts high school. So of course it's going to mainly be about Tori and her life at Hollywood Arts.
And one thing that irks me the most, is when people say Victoria is jealous of Ariana. First of all, where did you get that idea? Second of all, what makes you think that? They are both beautiful, talented, successful young girls with fans who love and support them. They both are getting their own solo album. They both have a future ahead of them. Why would she be jealous? It just doesn't make sense.
And for songs on the show. A lot of people are upset that the other cast members don't get to sing a lot on the show. And that Victoria always gets the lead. And they think that's it Victoria's fault. They think that she "can't share the fame." But I don't think Victoria would do that. I know it's Victoria's show, but I don't think she really has a say in who gets the lead in this song or how a song is edited.
Like for "Shut Up 'N Dance" on the Victorious 2.0 soundtrack. Many people were upset that it was just Victoria singing and not the entire cast. To tell you the truth, I think they recorded the solo version first before they edited it and added the cast for the episode. And I don't think Victoria would go up to Dan Schneider and say "I want the rest of the cast edited out for the soundtrack." That's not like her. So don't blame her for it. She has no control, or very little if any.
But more importantly they didn't renew Victorious for a fourth season because of some stupid 60 episode run rule. It happened to a lot of Dan's Schneider's shows. But my point is, if you're going to use that stupid rule, then apply it to ALL your shows. It's not fair that iCarly gets over 100 episodes and BTR gets over 60 and Victorious, their most popular show, doesn't get renewed because it has close to 60 episodes.
And it also really sucks cause Victorious won't get a proper ending. It ended with a random, non conclusive episode. And Nick didn't give them a heads up, so they couldn't have written it. The least they could've done was let Dan write and 90 minute to 2 hour series finale. And I knew Victorious was going to be ending soon anyway, but the tell you the truth, the earliest I thought it would end was like late 2013. The earliest.
Plus, we won't get all the music we've been waiting for since the second and last Victorious soundtrack came out. For the rest of this season there's going to be a least two or three new songs. And then's we still haven't gotten the full versions of the Make it Shine remix from Helen's Back Again or 365 Days from Jade Gets Crushed. And Victorious actually has the most diverse viewers. Not only do kids and teenagers watch this show, but college students and adults. With or without children. It's not like that with many other TV shows on Nick or Disney. So once Victorious and iCarly end, I won't be watching Nick except for House of Anubis, and to maybe see how Sam and Cat and Gibby go. But spinoffs aren't usually that successful. But considering it's a Dan Schneider show, it might actually be okay.
