This is a rewrite of my story, A Rohirrim Queen. This tells of Lothiriel and Eomer's arranged marriage, written in Lothiriel's point of view. She has always been a dutiful daughter, but can she say nothing in the face of a lifetime of unhappiness?

To flee from a dreadful fate, she is sent into hiding. But how can she hide her heart from the man who also holds her secret?

Thrown together in a match made out of necessity and convenience and duty, Lothiriel of Dol Amroth and the Horse Lord marry. Eomer, affected too deeply from a life of loss, tries to close his heart. But love can flourish in the hearts of even the most unwilling...

Do you believe in love at first sight? I do not, no matter what the Professor tells us. So here comes my attempt of a plausible and hopefully entertaining story why and how Éowyn and Faramir came to love each other. Classical gap filler; strictly book-verse.

Lothiriel, Princess of Dol Amroth wants nothing but to help her people and fight in the war of the ring. Her father Prince Imrahil has other ideas... one which includes marriage to The Lord of the Mark, King Eomer.

Eadlyn lived life in a living hell and alienated the one person she needed on her side. By order of the king, all was ripped from her until she could learn to manage her hall. Éothain was the energetic, over-exuberant young captain, sent to take over the small garrison near her estate. Could he help her possibly break through the remnants of her brother's insanity?

"For all that she knew of the world had until this day made her believe that there was no such thing as love at first sight."

The shadows gather. To create anew the old friendship between the kingdoms of Rohan and Gondor, a marriage is agreed upon. An unexpected bridegroom, a reluctant princess, and two lives bound together by chance.

Asked to befriend Rohan's famous White Lady, Lothíriel has serious doubts as to whether a shield-maiden and a princess will get on. But she was not expecting any difficulty in being civil to the lady's brother and sparks fly from their first meeting. Worse than that however, she is led into a situation that threatens her very life. Complete.

To what great lengths will a father go to in order to protect his daughter?

At the end of despair, when all hope has faded, a woman facing the last moments of her life finds the will to survive rekindled by one whose kind robbed her of it to begin with. Now she must decide which evil is the lesser: stay with the beast, or risk worse by leaving him. She soon finds that the horrors she faced in Isengard were not reserved for those in the breeding pits alone.

On a bright day in spring Queen Lothiriel is abducted and taken to Harad so that she might atone for the crimes of Rohan. Back in Edoras, King Eomer finds to his astonishment that his loveless marriage is not what it seems. COMPLETE. Warning: minor character death, angst.

Young Lothíriel is saved from the waves by Éomer, son of Éomund. Thus begins the story of a life-long love between the Princess of Dol Amroth and the Horselord of Rohan.

How the horselord first met the mermaid.

He was EomerKing, a pig-headed, hot tempered SOB with a kind and compassionate heart that belied his gruff, taciturn exterior. She was a beautiful girl, marked by the Valar, with a mysterious past and seemingly no future. Updated! 2/14

A sequel to "Choppy Waters". Seven months can be quite a long time, especially if you spend them waiting to be united with the one you love. But life does not stop and many things can happen during the winter, both in Gondor and the Riddermark.

Gimli thinks the Lady Galadriel the most beautiful woman in Middle-earth, but does Éomer agree? This is the part Tolkien did not tell us about. A humorous little oneshot. Complete.
