Author has written 4 stories for Vampire Diaries, and Veronica Mars.
I'm a high school student and I get really emotional about fictional characters.
Currently, the fandoms I read/write for are The Vampire Diaries and Veronica Mars. Logan/Veronica and Damon/Elena make me want to sob into my pillow. I'm more invested in Veronica Mars, at the moment, despite the fact that there are probably tumbleweeds in that archive.
I claim - in no way, shape, or form - to be even a remotely professional writer. It's less of an art for me as much as a purging exercise. I am really big on reading fic, though. I always have to go to bed with one pulled up, even if I've read it ten times before.
I'm a real stickler for one thing when I'm looking at the quality of fic, and that's characterizations. I'm not going to enjoy a fanfic where Damon is a bumbling virgin, or where Elena "is turned on" by being raped (the grossest). Nor am I going to enjoy a fic where Logan is all parts psychotic jackass with no soft underelly and Veronica lacks a backbone. I get it, you're the writer, you can choose to do what you like with the characters. Your interpretations of them may (vastly) differ from mine and that's fine. How we evaluate characters really depends on our own experiences, and everyone's varies. But if the way you see a character is the direct opposite of my personal envision of reactions and whatnot, I'm just not going to enjoy reading it.
Thanks so much for reading my profile and possibly my fics! I'll be writing more soon, I promise.
