Stand Alone Stories
A new twist on the classic anmesia plot. Videl is recruited by Supreme Kai to help keep Gohan in fighting shape to face a new threat, but gets her memories taken from her in the process. Staying with the Sons, Videl takes up a new identity and forges on as a Z warrior as her family and friends in Satan City grieve her supposed death. I'm having a lot of fun writing this, and it's giving me a chance to do a lot of things with Hercule that I've never seen done before. While I can understand why he's so heavily disliked among the fandom, especially by Gohan fans, I like seeing him as a more complex and muti-faceted character rather then just expounding on his negative traits. I'm actually surprised at how big a role he's taken on in this story, and I've had a blast writing him.
Next Chapter- Sialia takes on homework and deals with some uninvited guests in her brain, which doesn't end well...
So. Much. Fun. XDD
Gohan-as-a-teacher has all flavors of potential like you wouldn't believe. What I like best about it though is that it flips the traditional relationship between Gohan and Videl on it's head, so that Videl really can't harass Gohan the way she does in canon since, hey, dude's in charge of her grade. It puts them on a little more equal footing as characters so that they can learn to respect each other, while also creating a barrier as far as any kind of romance goes, lest Gohan lose his job and he and Videl both risk finding themselves in a scandal. Definitely looking forward to doing more with this idea.
Next Chapter- Videl's not having a good day. First some gold guy steals her fight, and now she successfully embarrassed herself in front of the new science teacher. And why won't Erasa shut up about how hot he is?!
-Son of A Witch-
My Epic DBZ/HP crossover. I want to see if I can write a story that combines elements of both universes, without ignoring anything or leaving either side out. It's really interesting to try and write a history for Chi-chi in the magical world, since we know so little about her background other then what directly applies to Goku.
Gohan finds out his mother's a witch (The magic kind, not the kind people have alwas accused her of being)! Despite Chi-chi's protests, our young half-saiyan jets off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn more about his magical powers and heritage. There he gets the chance to make new friends and learn some amazing things, but ultimately he still can't escape his duty to defend the innocent from the threat of harm, and it doesn't take him long to find out that there's more going on at Hogwarts then meets the eye...
Next Chapter- Hi-ho, hi-ho, off to Hogwarts we go! XD Gohan meets a familiar face on the Hogwarts Express, and a few new ones too. Then it's off to school and- singing hats? That's a new one...
Epic three-part saga. A little darker then I usually get, but also a chance to play with the characters in a different application then we usually see. When Chi-chi falls terminally ill and their usual methods can't cure her, the Z warriors come face to face with the harsh realities of mortality, especially Gohan. Now the young half-sayian must fight to help keep his mother alive, both figuratively and literally.
When Chi-chi falls ill and is told that she is dying, it sends a shockwave through the Son family and their friends. As Chi-chi struggles with newfound fears and anxieties, Gohan becomes more and more desperate to keep his mother alive, even if it means disappointing her in the process.
Next Chapter- Gohan finds out the truth about his mother's condition as Bulma and Chi-chi's search for a cure turns up a whole lot of nothing, which makes Chi-chi more and more upset with every passing day.
