Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, and Pokémon.
I'm no one special; an average kid in school, bored out of his mind and retreating into my books. Okay, so maybe not average for most places, but average for my school. I started reading fanfiction because I couldn't get enough of the real serieses and starting writing it because I was annoyed by all the horrible fics.
I am now in college, and I'm no longer writing fanfiction - well, not unless something really tickles my brain, which hasn't happened for a while. Instead I'm writing original fiction, which can be found at my website. Most notable there is the webserial about young superheroes I write, but I also have links to writing prompts I've responded to on reddit and a couple short stories I've written. Sorry, all my stories here are basically canceled for the forseeable future.
Various names I go by on the internet include The Next Man (here), nxtm4n (Minecraft, youtube, Dark Lord Potter), The_Raven_Lord (forums), and the Mountain King (reddit [technically it's -mountain-king- there, fictionpress, my website).
Interesting things about me:
If I were to write every day, without a beta, and had no homework or other unseemly demands on my time, then even without planning the story ahead I could put out a new chapter for any one of my stories every two days. Furthermore, only one day would be writing proper, the other would be editing and rewriting.
I enjoying creating worlds, and especially systems of magic, for fun. Crafting a system to fit most if not all of the canon of an established series? Even better!
I have altogether too many stories floating around in my head at any given time. At the moment, I have several original stories, one of which is my aforementioned web-serial and one of which I'm currently writing in the hopes of publishing.
“Tell me, Harry,” said the Headmaster, “why do Dark Wizards fear death so greatly?”
"I reject your reality and substitute my own!"
"Remember, kids, they only difference between science and messing around is writing it down."
“The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it.”
Science is a verb now!
Baking is science for hungry people!
Defeat awkwardness with maximum ridiculosity!
