Author has written 4 stories for Merlin, and My Little Pony.
Please note I have changed my Penname. This is still the account of mistwolf42, but I updated my name.
I suppose I should post at least a little something here about myself...
Well, hello there random person stalking out my profile. Unfortunatly I must say that there is not much to show here. I am a fairly new member here and so far don't have the world's largest collection of stories.
Anyways, about me, since this is the reason why I'm writing this right now. I am a college student, currently earning a degree in Secondary English Education. I like cupcakes, the color blue, the letter H, the number 42, wolves, lions, the sound that two Christmas ornaments make when they hit each other, the smell of Scotch tape, the looks on my classmates' faces when I announce that I indeed have become Dictator of the World...
Sorry, am I getting carried away? Probably.
Anyways, as you can probably tell by the handful of fanfictions I currently have, I am a Merlin fan. Thanks to my roomate and my good friend, I officially became hooked on the series November of 2012 and have not been the same since. I also enjoy the show Doctor Who, but only the 10th Doctor years (don't judge me). Other favorite shows include My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Haven, Warehouse 13, Eureka, and some other shows that I just can't think of right now. Movies include The Lion King, Pirates of the Carribbean (which no, I can't spell), and a bunch of random Disney movies that I just can't name right now followed with some other movies that I can't remember. I promise I have more than two favorite movies, I'm just too lazy to actually look into what I might like other than those two that I randomly picked off the top of my head.
I won't ramble on about favorite books, though I am a sucker for Terry Pratchet's Discworld books. Seriously, if you have a sense of humor larger than that of an ant, I highly suggest them. I need someone who will laugh when I say that a wizard's staff has a knob on the end.
About my fanfictions (there will soon hopefully be more to come): I enjoy good ol' fashioned multi-fics, no matter how much blood, sweat, and tears it takes to put them together. Emotional one-shot's really aren't my thing that much unless I write them for myself, then they will never see the light of day most likely. I have toyed around with a few fanfics involving an OC, but honestly I don't think they'll ever see the light of day either, since OC's aren't generally well-accepted. I enjoy writing Friendship/Adventure fics, with little to no romance. I DO NOT DO SLASH. Never. My fics will never contain slash, unless you yourself for some reason want to twist them to your liking and then that's your decision, but don't tell me about it. Thanks. I ship Arwen, and though I'm not big into Mergana it's acceptable. Feel free to suggest fanfic ideas, as long as they're within my parameters. ;)
I do try to reply to most reviews, and I do accept and reply to Private Messages, as long as they're appropriate. I don't bite. At least, not often. And I've had my rabies vacine, so you're good.
I've run out of witty things to say now. So stop reading my boring profile and read my stories!
Dude, what's that? Is that a *gasp* My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic story amongst your Merlin fictions?
Why yes. Yes it is. I'm dabbling. Haha.
Possible Coming Attractions:
The Die Is Cast - A simple trip to investigate strange rumors in an outlying town suddenly place Merlin and Arthur in the hands of a twisted sorceress known as the Trickster. Now they are faced with a perilous decision: take part in her twisted game, or loose Camelot forever. (Set series 2. Perspective rating: K)
Village of Nightmares - While on patrol, Arthur and co. are entreated to help a village who say their children are cursed by terrible nightmares. But soon Merlin and Arthur discover the darkness inside this town, and hard decisions must be made. (Set Between Series 4 and 5. Perspective rating: K)
Frog Prince - Don't know if I'll actually follow through on this one. But yeah, Arthur gets turned into a frog. Should be interesting. (Set Series ?. Perspective rating: K)
Also playing around with the idea of writing a "Young Merlin" series, featuring a 7-10 year old Merlin and his adventures as a little boy in Ealdor. These will most likely be shorter and fluffier, more along the lines of kid-show-like plots, and nothing too deep.
