Author has written 16 stories for Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Assassin's Creed.
Hello! I'm a twenty-something female who really tries to get her life together, but in the meantime, loves to write fanfiction :)
Please check out my deviant page! I am an aspiring artist and the more people see my artwork the better! : http://kvclinesmith.deviantart.com/
My fandoms: Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Hunger Games, Orphan Black, Robin Hood, Star Trek (TNG, though any ST is good in my books), Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, James Bond, the Avengers, and Chronicles of Narnia. Though, truly, I am a Sherlockian at heart, because I'll watch anything with any character even closely resembling Sherlock Holmes (I'm a big fan of House, and Batman is my favorite superhero, putting aside the Avengers craze I find myself locked in with everybody else)
My favorites: Hamlet, (Anything Shakespeare that I can watch with my preferred actors is how I chose to get my Shakespeare. For me, trying to read Shakespeare is infinitely more difficult than watching a play/movie, and THEN reading it. And, of course, my favorite Hamlet is the 2009 movie with David Tennant and Patrick Stewart, I also enjoyed Much Ado About Nothing, with David Tennant and Catherine Tate) The Count of Monte Cristo (LOVE Alexandre Dumas, 2002 movie is my fav), Pride and Prejudice, V for Vendetta, the Watchmen, Cleopatra (With Elizabeth Taylor), and "The Ten Commandments" (1956). And "A Little Princess" was my favorite book/movie when I was a kid. Oh, and Amadeus is my favorite movie EVER.
I ship Doctor/Rose, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Amy/Rory, Robin/Marian (BBC, or, really, the legend. BBC got Robin Hood canon all wrong, but Armstrong was THE best Robin Hood and I really wish they hadn't screwed up the end of S2 because it really could've gone somewhere *shakes fist at BBC for ruined opportunity*), V/Evey, Katniss/Peeta, Gale/Madge, Rose/Scorpius, Jack/Rose (Titanic), Holmes/Adler (The RDJ movies and the novels, not Sherlock, I don't like the woman who played Irene, and, come on, honestly, a dominatrix? So typical Moffat it's not even funny. He really needs to learn how to write women!), and I'm sure there's a dozen others but at the moment I can't think of anymore.
Oh, wait! Yes I can: my most recent: I'm growing quite attached to the idea of 11/Clara!...but after watching "The Name of the Doctor" they might just be my OTP. Take a back seat, Rose Tyler (I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Rose I love you too. I still ship you and the Doctor as well). Clara's saved the Doctor a million squillion times. They are adorable together and I love what she does to save him.
Update: and after Orphan Black season 1 is over, I totally ship Cosima/Delphine (which, I'll have you know, is my first ever same-sex ship. I've jumped on the homo bandwagon now. I used to be such a hater, lol. But now I don't give a shit, in fact, I'm for gay marriage now. It's weird. I've actually changed my mind. Which is not something I do often. Well. Actually, I do it all the time. I'm indecisive as hell. And there's your proof right there) and Sarah/Paul
Remember Me: (Doctor Who) The story of the Time Lady Clara, and how she saved the Doctor and became the most important woman in his life. CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF DOCTOR WHO. Includes all Doctors, and Clara. Features mostly Classic Who, with Cameos and mentions of New Who. Well, and an Impossible Girl.
The Impossible Girl: (Doctor Who) Drabbles (for lack of a better word) about Clara's lives she lives and dies to save the Doctor. Contains both Classic and New Who, as well as all of the Doctors 1-11. (Not counting John Hurt's Doctor). Spoilers for "The Name of The Doctor" if you haven't seen it yet. Written to fill the void of No Who until November 23rd.
(Not yet finished writing these, but not abandoned!)
The Boy With the Bread: (Hunger Games) No! I haven't given up on it! It's just on hold until my Doctor Who obsession fizzles out. Well, not fizzles out but until I can acknowledge any other fandom! My goal is to having Catching Fire finished before the movie comes out, as it was with The Hunger Games, but it might just be an ambitious stab in the dark! (I might need a kick in the backside, reviewers!)
The Worst Game to Play: (Hunger Games) I have a general idea of where this story is going, and I'll get around to finish writing it, I swear!
Our Story: (Harry Potter) Oh, this one is definitely not finished! I have so much written for later in the story, it's just the middle that's giving me trouble. On second thought, you might want to consider this one partially abandoned. Might come back to it later.
The Spotter's Guide: (Doctor Who) Don't hold your breath! These are only themed drabbles that are in my head but not on paper. I have ideas for other Doctors. But who knows when I'll actually get around to writing/posting them!
(These are stories I am currently writing and will not post until I have completed them)
Earth Defense: (Doctor Who) This is a Doctor Who spin-off series (When I say series, I mean series. I'm writing several different stories). It's about Rose Tyler and the Tenth Doctor Duplicate's adventures in Pete's World. This is a HUGE, AMBITIOUS project. As soon as the first story is complete, I will post it.
Death Count: (Hunger Games) A Hunger Games story about Haymitch Abernathy, and all the deaths he has caused/feels responsible for.
Nightlock: (Hunger Games) Another Hunger Games, a one-shot, about Katniss and Peeta's death. This one is almost finished, I'm just not completely satisfied with it yet.
Never Enough Time: (Doctor Who) A four-part 11/Rose story that involves the Doctor going back to before Rose met him because he misses her. Takes place during the Snowmen, before he met Clara again. Spoilers for up until the Snowmen.
My Little Mockingjay: (Hunger Games) Plot-less drabbles about Katniss and Peeta having children.
The Next Great Adventure: (Harry Potter) This was my first ever one-shot, and involves Harry's journey to the afterlife.
Paper Flowers/Puzzle Piece: (Harry Potter) Pure fluffy one-shots about Ron and Hermione post-series
The Primrose, The Mockingjay, and the Willow Tree: (Hunger Games) Involving Peeta, this involves his thoughts as he plants the Primroses outside Katniss's house.
She Walks in Eternity: (Doctor Who) I love this one. It is the TARDIS reflecting on her life with the Doctor. I wrote this mainly because I got annoyed with fics that describe the TARDIS as being stuck in a linear time and not being able to see all of time. And, because it annoyed me how people don't even pay attention to characterization and assume the TARDIS thinks like a human being instead of like a TARDIS.
