Author has written 16 stories for Dark Shadows, Hello Kitty/大好き!ハローキティ, Kids In The Hall, Golden Girls, Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Addams Family, Clue, Munsters, Bewitched, Doctor Who, and Dark Shadows.

HI! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE DO US ALL A FAVOUR AND READ THE SUMMARY TO THESE STORIES WHEN YOU START, PLEASE? THANK YOU! SHEEZ! (lol)

• As one from The Kids In The Hall might introduce oneself: I am actor/writer/comedian, Daryl Wor. Those working in humour, even online, are looking for reactions to the humour. For almost three years I have received little. I have discovered when I don’t get that feedback I have turned into Groucho Marx when he and his brothers were given a lazy audience. Groucho Marx was not in any way pleasant in this problem.

• Perhaps many creators to online material are happy with large numbers. Not me. I prefer people who communicate and a band of kindred spirits, small groups of intimate friends. I am looking for my people, not popularity and not people who have been handed the known universe on a device with a bad keyboard only to take it all for granted.

• Rare is a Dark Shadows friend I have who enjoys my work enough to tell me what they are enjoying about it. If you look over the dates to my work and the slow moving feedback I have received you can see how very long and hard I’ve worked on my series.

• I do not have a car. Please try to imagine what this is like.

• I am using the internet to find an audience who can discuss my program with me.

• I have spent my life savings on this project and in order to finish it I require commentary and have tried to do my best to give that to others.

• I have also been burning audio CDs of my material and shipping them to people who do not have access to the audio content as easily as most.

• If you are an Addams Family or Wadsworth fan who also likes Dark Shadows characters you are likely the type I am looking for. :)

[23 December 2014] Hi everybody... well I'm still here, I've still got tons of downloads on the podcast... You can post commentary here or on the podomatic site. Episodes 5 through 13 currently require more fun commentary before I upload and re-release Episode 14 with Willie Loomis coming home from Wyndcliff. Meanwhile my wordpress journal tells what I'm up to and up against. (And no! You do not need to be as complimentary as Mr. Freeman. But I gotta say that's nice for a change!) My level of stress has increased in the the last year from people who liked my work but wanted me to change it for them; stalkers, and control freaks turned troll. Not good. Staying positive and being very alone while tons of strangers enjoy my work without my seeing or hearing their reactions? Doubly so.

And, YEP! We're finally on iTunes! Just type in "The Pit of Ultimate Dark Shadows" in the upper right search box.

I dumped the tumblr link. Tumblr seems too prone to miscommunication than communication. Going to focus on the wordpress account more.

I also have an account on Google... not really sure how the heck to use it, but it beats going to twitter. Not that I'd get much chat that way either. Yes, I've raved and ranted, but not to anyone approaching me with kindness. That trouble is caused by silent takers with a backlog of over 2 years of major silence in this struggle. Ask those who have chatted with me. The only one I've raised any alarm to is a control-freak over my work that I have no desire to associate with anymore. I don't believe in guilt. I believe in change. Do you want help with anything? I'd like to try and help you. (Beats suffering over the continued lack of communication with my work.)

Sheesh! This was already creepy a year ago... now I've got crazy high numbers and listeners but so little dialogue. How many times do I have to express that if I get the dialogue on enjoyment I will go faster?? I want to go faster... The more you tell me what you enjoyed the more you are going to get! [02/14/2015]

FIRST EPISODE ON YOU TUBE! (Want it made even easier to comment? You tell me!)

And then, there are those Josette Dupres lovers.. Hmm! I think I figured out who this was for! Come on, you fans of hers! I know ya been waitin' for this!

Oddly enough, wow. Margaret Josette Dupres, a marriage novel with erotica, is getting the most support. There are far more listeners to The Pit of Ultimate Dark Shadows and way less chat about it. One might speculate that an M-Rated novel would be the BIGGER dirty secret no one would want to discuss, but as you can see when I got the commentary and discussion on Margaret Josette Dupres? Boy, it's going STRONG!

(Well, whatever floats the boats in the Collinsport Shipyards I guess...)

And when it comes to Vampires... nope, Louis de Pointe du Lac wasn't the first reluctant vampire...

Why We Love Vampires

Salutations! So here's my crack at a profile and my One story to tell:

Dete Wor was the sister psuedo-nym to Daryl Wor. I chose Dete for another fan-fiction I began during the Sailor Moon craze. And as you can see, I've changed it back. Yep, it's me, in this one for the long haul. :S As Daryl Wor I've done over 15 solo projects for Librivox.org

"The Pit of Ultimate Dark Shadows" is a fan-fiction based on the 1960's daytime drama. I posted it here months before the 2012 movie was released, having mapped it out even earlier. I mention this to derail the idea that the the film's plot-line encouraged where my series was going to go, which it didn't. It cross-blends a variety of things, encompassing it's own genre of spookiness, and a few others besides. Also similarly, it's written in a more or less radio-script format. The former is good to work with because the 1960's seems to have a plethora of shows with that supernatural edge to choose from, now made classic by long-time fans and the passing of time. I'd also always wanted to put together an overlapping story with familiar spooky characters of this type, and after diving into Dark Shadows, I realised the perfect platform/base had been found.

In the radio format, the show is hosted by a pair, familiar to many Kids In The Hall fans: Sir Simon Milligan, and Manservant Hecubus. They explain what's happening in the story, as well as being slightly part of it by engaging in production flaws and occasionally interacting with its characters. It begins at a time when Willie Loomis (Barnabas Collins' right-hand man) has been shipped off to Wyndcliff Sanitarium and new help applies to The Old House, none other than butler Wadsworth from the movie "Clue". :) Since that particular character was played by Tim Curry, Wadsworth shares one other character in common with him. (By episode 14 Willie does return! He also cameos in episode 3, and has scenes in episodes 8 & 13)

This author has come to the deep understanding, that this story was never really meant for any majority of Dark Shadows fans. This story might be for the fans of all the other spooky shows that tried Dark Shadows but gave up in the despair of it ever having any resolution. So how fitting is it that the spooky programs we take comfort in turn can turn about and soothe the many injuries of Collinsport?

For all of the fans who feel cast-out from the Dark Shadows world? This one is all for you.

Though we may enjoy our time yelling at the screen, sometimes the answers to all that pretense come in shuddering glimpses of clarity. If you've ever wanted to see Dark Shadows problems resolved as they go, well, I'm going to try my best to get there.

However, guest reviews are allowed on this site and MOST welcome. I have been working very hard on this story since 2011, as well as note taking since about 2009. So it's been very difficult to get all the details as accurate as I can, and not just for Dark Shadows but for everything else I've been putting into the mixture. (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, anyone?) Kids In The Hall skits, Clue, Bewitched, The Addams Family, The Munsters, Freddy Krueger, Psycho, Twin Peaks, The Ghost & Mrs. Muir, even reincarnation research and the list goes on...

Keep those decanters at the ready, and the coffee on the perk! ;)

And I just want to shout out somewhere: "BETTER SURF" SUCKS! If you ever want to know how to get rid of those insidious advertisements, contact me! I've had it with those stupid buzzards! They make pop-up ads happen with NO browser even open and infiltrate your computer! Peace :) [Update on this 22 March 2014: After having to erase files five times in one day as well as restarting my system as many times, I say again: They suck! All adware sucks! Big eggs!]

Mind you... the only flaws I'm looking for is continuity to Dark Shadows original content. Otherwise it's laughter, enjoyment and as I say in my podcast, constructive praise, all the way.

I suppose that idea is too revolutionary a concept... or I'm making everyone laugh so hard they're choking to death. :/

The Pit of Ultimate Dark Shadows reviews
What is happening here is, I think, one of the fundamental processes involved in innovation so far and the *cause* of the difficulty we have in predicting it. It's the way in which change so often happens when things come *together* in ways they never have before. And when data is brought together in new ways like that...The result is more than the sum of the parts. – James Burke

1795: Angelique is out to thwart Josette Dupres' engagement to Barnabas Collins, but with a different purpose.(A unique experience again. Not hard to write, very short, pretty trashy but extremely popular. Perhaps that's the problem with Dark Shadows stories now, that's what readers are used to.) Wanted to bring this back to y'all. Here are the SERIOUS issues between the TV version of Dark Shadows & what you guys got. A Day In Licorice Woods
OMG... this story is so old. I can't believe I found it. I know I had a second chapter that had harsher humour that I never finished. I think this is from the late 1990's. It's Chococat meets Purin. It's soooooo silly. Kinda sad at one point but it gets better. (Hey cuties, my little story is getting lonely. Isn't anyone going to post some commentary and at least say, "Aww!" ?)
