Author has written 10 stories for Minecraft, and Transformice.
Greetings, internet! Mellifluousness here.
salutes with hand over heart* You may call me Flu and consider yourself my loverly. It does not matter whether you like me or not, you are my loverlies. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I am an author, a lover of words, spinner of tales, creator of worlds and wielder of quills! While I no longer consider myself a denizen of the Minecraft archive due to the shameful nature the place has acquired, I certainly write for the game and have made the greatest effort to get the most out of its sandbox-ness. I am designing cultures, histories and even a full language that has currently six hundred words to its vocabulary. My most-loved story, Ears to Hear Us, is in planning to be rewritten as a hideously convoluted mess of fantasy and weird time shenanigans. :D It's going to be fun. While my little piece of nothing The World in Which We Fail has more reviews and views, I really only care about EtHU.
So, more about me personally... I don't know what to tell people first about me, that I'm an author or that I'm a Christian. That should tell you a lot in itself. :P I live at the ends of the earth in Auckland, New Zealand, though I hope to live in Dunedin someday because it's prettier there. I am a joyous person, though very awkward socially (and I think I've got worse over the past few years), so the Internet gives me a nice way to interact with people without having to go through the rigours of... social interaction. *shudder* I have an ironic sense of humour and am proudly weird, a user of proper feather quill pens I cut and temper myself whenever I can.
I am predominately a fan of Minecraft, though recently my good friend got me into Homestuck which I read the entirety of in a week and got more than slightly addicted to. I was brought here through the game Portal 2, however. I don't game much, but I do enjoy to play occasionally. I have a Steam account I rarely go on, Superfluousness if anyone cares. :D
I also share a birthday with Hitler. Be veeeeery afraid.
Right, about one hundred and forty people have me on author alert. This is a HUGE number of individuals and I am so, so grateful to every single one of them and I love them all so much.
This does not make me any better than anyone else. I am not an untouchable writing goddess, queen of the archive, aloof and distant celebrity or anything of the sort. I am a child behind a computer screen who just happened to be good enough at writing that through some miracle or other a lot of people started reading my stories. I'm not better than you! One hundred and forty is tiny in comparison to many authors on this site and many published authors off it; it's a huge number for me, but I'm still here to be talked to, not idolised and stuck up on a pedestal. The whole point of this site is that readers and author can interact! You know I love you all, and I am not better than you. c:
My deviantART, which contains all sorts of fun stuff pertaining to my stories such as EtHU's soundtrack and a dictionary for Tongue, is Abberance (because I can't spell Aberrance -_-):
That's all I can think of for now.
Be sure to check my favourites for some very nice people and stories to read.
My goodness, I thought I'd never give in to the copy-and-pastes, but I saw this one and couldn't resist.
When you carry a Bible, the devil gets a headache.
Of course, I corrected its grammar, because anyone would get a headache from that. XD I added some stuff, too, but that doesn't count. Evangelism complete.
So, you want me to read your story? I'm a denizen of the Minecraft archive. Here are some turn-offs of mine.
"Yogscast fanfiction featuring-" NOPE
"Mob talker-" NOPE
You get the idea.
Okay, STORY UPDATES INFO. I'm getting annoyed with people complaining about updates. Please don't pester me to update, okay? It's not 'motivation', it's just annoying. I know you mean the best, but I still don't like it. It's even WORSE when you do it as an anon because I can't reply to you and tell you why I'm not updating.
Anything with the word "ONESHOT" in the summary is a oneshot. I.e., one chapter, no more updates. So there.
Ears to Hear Us: Being rewritten!
Brave Enough: Updates whenever I have inspiration for a poem. Sometimes that takes a while. :P
And that is all.
Anyway, I've said too much already. Go do something constructive. Like blowing things up. Or maybe that's destructive... eh. Technicalities.
Good reading to all, and to all a good write. :D
