Author has written 20 stories for Song of the Lioness, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, 2010, and Sound of Music.
I have been on FF.Net for a very very VERY long time. I'm not always active, but once in awhile I'll be hit with this (almost exact) train of thought: "hey! I wonder if there's a fandom for - oh. Oh yes, there is. And HOLYTHISISAMAZING."
I fell in love with Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness when I was very young, and it's been a constant companion through the years. It's what first inspired me to write, although it took me another several years to feel comfortable publishing anything. It's been over a decade since, and I still continue to be inspired. (I don't delete any of my work - although anything written before circa 2005 is pretty crappy - because I rather like how it tracks my writing progress.)
Among the fandoms that I lurk/have lurked in are Tamora Pierce, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, the Giver, the worlds of Tim Burton's creations, and the Sound of Music.
I try to review every story I read, and I love getting feedback for my own stories (particularly if you 'favourited' it - I would love to know what your favourite bits were!) IMO, one of the great things about fanfiction is the community of talented writers and unique individuals behind each fandom, and I love when we get to chat about the stories, the fandom, writing in general, life in general...
There's a magic of FF.Net that keeps me coming back, inspires me to keep writing, and leads me to believe that a good story doesn't end when the book/movie is over. So thank you all!
