Hello, and welcome to my profile! I happen to be mediocre at writing, and I hope to do this site justice.
In fulfillment of a promise to a good friend, I ask that any who read this at least look up a book by the name of Beneath Archer's Tree.
Frodo:I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.
Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.
Let me tell you something kid; Everybody gets one chance to do something great. Most people never take the chance, either because they're too scared, or they don't recognize it when it spits on their shoes.
Lies and deceit are the stuff of evil; do not be tempted to utilize them. (Myself)
Do, or do not. There is no try.
“With great power, comes great responsibilty.”
The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming.
"Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
“Kids like Henry need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people, setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them. Cheer them. Scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours, just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble...and finally allows us to die with pride. Even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams.”
"People break down into two groups. If they experience something lucky, group number one sees it as more than just luck. More than coincidence. They see it as a Sign. Evidence that there is someone up there watching out for them. Group number two sees it as just pure luck. A happy turn of chance. For them, this situation is a fifty-fifty. Could be bad; could be good. But deep down, they feel that whatever happens, they're on their own. And that fills them with fear. There are those people. But there's a lot of people in group number one. They're looking at a miracle. And deep down, they feel that whatever's going to happen, there'll be someone there to help. And that fills them with hope. So what you have to ask yourself is which kind of person are you? Are you the kind that sees Signs? Sees miracles? Or do you believe that people just get lucky? Or look at it this way: Is it possible that there are no coincidences?"
SAM: I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going because they were holding on to something.
Oh, it's not the first time I was tossed out of a window, and it won't be the last. What can I say? I'm a rebel.
"I personally believe, that if you cannot become a better person from something, then it is best not to associate yourself with it." (Myself)
"Those who attempt to humiliate others, only serve to humiliate themselves." (Myself)
"Dear, God! What has happened to the American people? I thought that The United States was a place of debate and freedom, not a place of biased politics! I thought that everyone's opinions were to be respected and heard with due consideration, not shouted down when someone important doesn't like it! I thought that the Constitution was a document that was the unchanging and absolute law of the land, applicable to all, and subservient to none. Not the worthless piece of parchment that it is being portrayed as in the modern era!" (Myself)
Thinking of you wherever you are.
We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend; now, I step forward to realize this wish.
And who knows: Starting a new journey may not be so hard; or maybe it has already begun.
There are many worlds; but they share the same sky, one sky, and one destiny.

The closer to the light you become, the longer your shadow also becomes: But do not be afraid; you have within yourself the greatest power over darkness. So do not be afraid.

"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, imagine what you'll know tomorrow." Unknown- Men in Black
"Do you know what honor is? Honor is ability to walk away from power; the ability to give up everything for someone else, and the man you make yourself to be. Always do the best you can do, and never tarnish your good name; as it is the only thing you truly own in this life."- My Grandfather
"I reject your reality, and substitute my own!"- Adam Savage (Mythbusters)
