ABOUT: I have a real job, and I don't have much time to write for fun. However, I usually keep writing something, even if they either never show up here or appear here in a timely manner.
CURRENTLY WORKING ON: "Past The Tyrant's Stroke", an AU Regulus-centric romance/drama fic set in 1981. He runs away across the ocean and then realizes he has some serious lady problems. "Some Nights", another Regulus-centric drama fic set in 1981, but this time it's half of a collab with RaeynnBeau that is updated very intermittantly. Reg freaks out after surviving for a bit post-lake and starts more or less stalking Sirius because he's worried. (Mostly depressing) Shenanigans ensue.
FAR ON THE BACKBURNER: "All the Small Things," a Star Wars time-travel adventure.
FORMER NOM-DE-PLUME: Matrixsailorstarknightz (circa 2002-2009).
Interests Relevant to Fanfic (For Both Topic and Tone)
Movies: Star Wars (IV-VI), Star Trek (II, IV, VI, & XI)
Television Shows: Star Trek: TOS, Supernatural (S1-5), Doctor Who (#3, 5, 9, 10)
Manga: Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Naruto
Comic Books: Lucifer, Saga, Wonder Woman, Superman
Novels: Shakespeare's tragedies; The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald); Mrs. Dalloway (Virginia Woolf); P.G. Wodehouse's work in general; Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, HP and the Half-Blood Prince (J.K. Rowling); The Thrawn Trilogy (Timothy Zahn); X-Wing series (Michael Stackpole, Aaron Allston); Lamb (Christopher Moore); the FitzChivalry Farseer novels (Robin Hobb); the Night Watch Discworld novels (Terry Pratchett)
Pairings: Plausibility/Good Writing. (However, Han & Leia is sacrosanct.)
Light of a Fading Star starts off fairly light but becomes progressively darker as the plot continues. In general, though: OCs exist. Sometimes my writing gets too scientific (read: boring and "if... then...") in style. I try to keep that under control as much as possible. I focus a fair amount on illness, grief, and death as themes, but I paradoxically have issues killing characters. So, most of my stuff is a weird balance between doom and gloom and EVERYBODY LIVES.
