Author has written 2 stories for Hunger Games, and Misc. Books.
Hello! I'm Lindsey, or some people like to call my Lau. (:
I used to have a fanfiction profile, but I gave up on it. After reading some of my more recent writing, and going through my old stories I decided I wanted to come back. I love reading reviews and hearing from poeple too, so I came back because of that too. Not to mention the people of FF are lovely, most of them are writers and readers and people I can talk to about my obsessions with books. (:
1. I'm a dancer, or I used to be a dancer... I mean I still am but once I got to highschool I decided to become a cheerleader (Yeah, don't get all stereotypical on me) because I needed an extra curicular activity that I could get something out of. It was either volleyball or cheerleading. I chose cheerleading because I knew I had a better chance of making the cheer squad because of my dance background. It has it ups, and it has it's down. Sometimes the downs tend to outway the ups, but that happens with everything. Plus all the girls are great...for the most part...and you can't really judge a book by its cover. I mean I'm almost as stereotypical as it gets too, being blonde. But, from what I'm told anyway, I don't live up to the bad name cheerleaders have been given.
2. I have two favorite books (or series I suppose). The Hunger Games and the Forest of Hands and Teeth. They're both trilogies, and they're both great reads. I suggest them for anyone. As you can see I have one story in the making for The Hunger Games. I think It's going pretty well so far, and I definitely wouldn't mind if you read and reviewed it (: I also have something written for the Forest of Hands and Teeth, but I placed it under Misc. Books. It's my own spin on the series, with different characters and such.
3. Everyone has a inspiration, right? Well I don't have an inspiration, but more someone who demands that I write. That would be my grandmother. I'm pretty sure she has everything that I have ever wrote, right down to the first story I had written back when I was 10 called "Laura". Which was an EXTREMELY creepy and disturbing piece of work for someone that age. I don't exactly know what my intentions were. But there was alcohol, and an older boy that abused this "Laura" that I had created. I never finished it but I'm pretty sure that where I left off was about to lead to rape. I was a demented child, but am past my dark ages now...thank goodness.
5. I recently was able to join the wonderfully amazing 24tributes24authors account in a new project. I'll be writing the District 2 female in their Quater Quell - Bring Them to Their Knees! But, you should go check out their other story Tears of Blood (: It's super amazing. Seriously. Go read it.
