Author has written 23 stories for Cause of Death, Hunger Games, and Walking Dead.
Hey! I'm Kimberly. I'm seventeen (eighteen in November), and I'm a senior in high school. I love both reading and writing, so naturally, English has been my favorite class throughout middle and high school. (History, however, has never been enjoyable to me.) Aside from reading and writing, I love country music, tumblr, food, and spending time with friends and family. I currently play volleyball, but I've also been in karate (black belt), swimming, gymnastics, and cheerleading (which I absolutely hated). I've played the trumpet in school bands since fifth grade, and I can play a little guitar. After high school, I'm planning to major in Art with an emphasis on Graphic Design and minor in Writing and Rhetoric (or possibly Journalism). While I'm not entirely sure what part of my future writing will occupy, I'm just going to enjoy it for now.
I am also a Christian, and God is a huge part of my life. He has blessed me with a joy for reading and writing, for which I am extremely thankful. I'm so grateful that He allowed me to have such a great childhood where I could be surrounded in an environment that encouraged reading. I will always strive to put God first in my life and aim to bring glory to Him in both my writing and everything else I do. For this reason, I prefer to minimize my use of cussing and swearing to just characterization purposes, and I avoid using His name as an exclamation as much as I can. I'm not anywhere near perfect, and I will sin, fail, and fall short; but I know He loves and will forgive me all the same. Though I do believe in God, I will never judge you for what you believe in.
My writing isn't always on the cheery side, since I like to channel my emotions into writing. I do write happier stories as well, though, and I'm usually pretty optimistic. As I said, writing is my channel, and I'll often take my frustrations out on and through the characters I use.
So yeah. I realize that was very long, and it is more than likely that nobody actually read that. Anyways, if you leave me a review, I will probably freak out & partake in a mini happy-dance of excitement... so that would be really nice. C: Anyways, I hope you have a lovely day! (:
Types of fanfiction I write:
Cause of Death: CoD is an interactive iOS game created by EA. I've played it for a couple years, and although EA has concluded its final volume, I am still in love with the characters and will therefore continue writing fanfictions about them. The game features the two protagonists, Malachi Fallon and Natara Williams (Mal and Nat) along with an ever-changing list of other main characters. Mal, Nat, and their co-workers are all detectives at the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD). Throughout the game, you play as one of the characters as they solve crimes and catch criminals. There's also a bit of romance thrown in, which is always great. My favorite fanfictions to write in the CoD fandom are Maltara (Mal/Nat) fluff, because they're just so dang cute!
The Hunger Games: I'm sure pretty much everyone on the face of the earth knows or has heard of The Hunger Games trilogy, so I won't explain it—the general plot synopsis is easy enough to find out if you want to look it up. I've only written one original HG fanfiction as of right now, and I kind of left my second one (a re-write of Collins' books in Peeta's POV) up in the air. I may or may not finish it—we'll see. I ship Katniss and Peeta very hard, though, so I love
The Walking Dead (Game): TWDG is an interactive choose-your-own-adventure written and produced by Telltale Games. It is set during the zombie apocalypse, where everyone is infected, and those who die (unless the brain is destroyed) turn into a blood-thirsty walker. I don't want to give any of the plot away, but I'll summarize the best I can without ruining anything. The first season features a man name Lee and a little girl, Clementine, he came across while escaping a horde of flesh-hungry zombies. It follows their adventures and quest for survival as they meet countless other characters. The second season is told from Clementine's perspective as she meets a new group and struggles to survive with them. The game is available on quite a few systems, and though I could purchase and play it on my iPod, I just watch walkthroughs on YouTube so I don't have to buy them.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the main/canon characters used in my work. In CoD, most of the victims, suspects, criminals, and Mal and Nat's kid(s) are my OC's. For TWDG, I've only used canon characters so far, but I might mess around with an OC or two in the future.
