There are so many people in the world that have so much to say. There are so many people with stories, stories that they’ll never be able to tell. There are those who dream, those who create, and those who dare to think of the impossible.
Those people dying to be heard, those people with amazing experiences, those people with amazing minds, ambitions. So many live on to become lawyers, doctors, firemen. All amazing, wonderful careers. But what if that lawyer wanted to be a dancer? What if that doctor wanted to be a musician? What if that fireman wanted to teach an art class? So many of us want to be artists, to be dreamers. So many of us want to change the world in our own, unconventional ways. So why don't we?
Fear, maybe. Expectations. Our peers. The father who’s owned his own practice for two decades, the mother who earns six figures a year, the brother and sister who have made a respectable living for themselves.
It took me a while to realize it, but writing on this site has taught me so much about believing in myself, and what I want to do with my life. It has taught me to listen to myself, and that I don't have to be one of those people who will never be heard.
Writers are the catalysts. We are the people who serve as a reminder to others that there is still the individual, that everyone is different, and that it is not a bad thing. We are the keys to a world of dreamers.
BE A DREAMER...BE THE KEY...
Part I: When Stars Cross
Summary: After condemned souls brought down the heavens, the Guardians were exiled to the mortal world. They live to avenge, bound by oath to restore balance between the condemned and the celestial. I shall be the last to ascend and join my kin, to be the final member of House Estialis. The Triad must fall; the Stars must reign. That means relinquishing everything to my duty…even love.
