I am bidding a temporary (I hope) goodbye to fanfiction and most especially to you. I need time to get my bearings after a recent tragedy. My mom left this world last week, and all those visions of becoming a published writer I have also buried. My mom was my greatest source of inspiration, and I had always dreamt of the day that I could show my masterpiece to her. And now she's gone.
I thought it would be unfair to just slip away noiselessly especially since some of you are still waiting for my updates so I am leaving this note here.
To my friends and acquaintances here, know that I will always remember the bonds we have formed. I may not have the strength to write to you right now, but I am always thinking of you and our shared dreams and passion. Thank you so much for everything.
My mom was my greatest Muse, and I honestly do not know if I ever can get back to writing. If I fail to do so, then please just accept my sincerest gratitude for reading my stories. I was hoping I could share some more with you, but life is too unfair, and it is something I will never be able to accept, something I will always run from.
hello, i'm Moon, and i'm in the process of spilling ink over unbounded pages.
Thank you to all those who have reviewed and added my stories to their fave lists. Some even added me to their authors' list/alert. Thank you so much. I've been wanting to hang up my pen but every time I receive a review or any FFN alert, I get reminded of why I wanted to be a writer in the first place. As a way to thank you all, I'll be trying to return the favor and drop a review in one of your stories.
I'm currently on a reviewing spree. (You can thank fanofthisfiction for influencing me.) If you find my name in your review box, it is most probably because you have also reviewed one or few of my works! I am just trying to return the favor. However, those who have written stories with multiple chapters would have to wait until I can get my hands on them.
fanofthisfiction has started a fanfiction movement which aims to encourage both readers and authors to be reviewers as well. I absolutely support this movement. I hope you will get inspired to join in as well.

Please feel free to let her (or me) know if you want to express your support as well and be added to this list.
I plan to read and review any fic of any fandom (that I know about), but my current priority lies in the stories of the authors who have previously reviewed my works. If you have reviewed or plan to review any of my stories, expect a review from me as well. It may not be delivered quickly but I promise my review will find its way to your box.
I only give signed reviews and you are more than welcome to message me anytime for clarifications. If ever you find a review in your box under my name but unsigned, kindly inform me about it.
On Reviews and 'Flames'
Please, please, please! Before you decide to 'flame' someone, make sure your 'flame' is actually grounded on something so that the writer can work on some improvements. As an aspiring critic myself, I do not want to propagate this idea that critics are conceited, know-it-all people, and I also do not want to stain the credibility of the term 'review.' Reviews are meant to be constructive, guided, and directed to the work of the author, never to the author him/herself. You can hate on the work as much as you like but back it up with points of consideration from the story itself and then provide suggestions on how these can be revised. It would also help if you could leave a signed review so that the writer is given the option to message you for elaboration. Writers and critics are supposed to work hand in hand.
If you just so happen to harbor the cheap urge to troll someone, then I assure you this site is not the avenue for that. Go play elsewhere because contrary to popular belief, some writers are here not just for fun but to live their dream. You do not have the right to trample on that.
My Favorite Stories
I have finally decided to add stories to my fave list. I have been reading and reviewing a lot of stories, and some of those I add to my list for public exposure. These are stories I deem very novel and beautifully written, deserving all the attention they can get. Please take a look at them and drop them reviews!
This space is for me to express my sincerest gratitude to these people who have helped me in one way or another at some point of my journey both as a writer here on fanfiction and as a human who is sometimes lost but always found.
