As is probably obvious by my current pseudonym of choice, this is a bit of a sockpuppet account. I plan to use it mostly for leaving reviews and keeping track of fic I enjoy. At some point I may post fic I don't want immediately associated with my main fandom identity. Not to say that fic posted here could never make it to my usual haunts - but I'd like to leave this space open for me to be more experimental in my approach to both writing and posting.
Some things to keep in mind if you decide to interact with me: I have a (pretty bad) anxiety disorder that - even with treatment - can cause me to retreat from most social interaction for days on end. Due to the aforementioned disorder, I'm pretty hit or miss at replying to reviews, replies, PMs, and so on, but I will almost always eventually respond to an e-mail. I love bouncing ideas with people and sharing fic snippets as I work, but I no longer do serious beta work except as a favor for close friends (or for Yuletide). I identify as queer, and if that is a problem, I recommend not opening any lines of communication with me in the first place.
General fandom stuff: I enjoy nearly all types and genres of fic, but I am currently on something of a branch AU kick. I read gen, slash, het, femslash, multi - whatever might strike my fancy. My semi-recent fandoms include Supernatural and Dragon Age, but my most recent reading spree is revolving around some of my nostalgia fandoms, which include Naruto and Harry Potter. I like fic that can deliver a good punch to the gut, but I love a happy ending. I would rather read crack fic than a tragedy, but a fic that can make me laugh *and* cry has my utmost respect.
Generally, I try to be a friendly, understanding person; I apologize for those times I can only manage one out of three.
