Poll: Much like how Kinva in Borderline Madness started out as a League Champ concept, then went into League of Souls, and made her first actual debut in Borderline Madness with backstory tweaks, I'm debating: In Mortal Instinct 2, I put in an Onryo (Vengeful Spirit in Japanese) ghost character at the last minute, and after thinking on it, I realized she could probably easily do the same thing and multi-feature in different stories with some tweaks. Anybody think this is a good idea? Vote Now!
Author has written 15 stories for Halo, Borderlands, Gears of War, Metal Gear, Friday the 13th, Daily Life with a Monster Girl/モンスター娘のいる日常, Transformers, Destiny, Warframe, Soul Calibur, Mortal Kombat, Titanfall, Payday: The Heist, League of Legends, and Killer Instinct.
Heavily disregard Noble Illogical, Borderline Madness, and Decepticon Rebels for the time being. They're old works (The first of which was my first foray ever into non-school writing), and not indicative of my performance at present. Either ignore those three altogether in favor of War's Mistress, Life of the Pack, Ancient Ronin, or American Monsters, or read them with multiple grains of salt and an understanding that it was early performance, and therefore an old, inaccurate representation of my writing. I intend to rework NI and BM guaranteed, and once I do, they'll be taken off this disclaimer.
Currently Active Fics:
Borderline Madness, Borderlands Fic. Rating: T. Characters: Maya, Krieg, Axton. Description: A change around of Borderlands 1 in which the cast of the first and second games are working together. The Bl2 group will be going through the various DLCs for Borderlands 1 and eventually lead into Borderlands 2. Starts off right before Sledge's death in the main game.
Noble Illogical, Halo Fic. Rating: T. Characters: Noble Six, Jorge, Emile. Description: Noble makes it off Reach in full force tailing the Autumn, and are present during the events of the 5 main Halo games (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, not ODST). Note that it starts at the beginning of Halo Reach, and some events are twisted from their game depictions. Also does include Rosenda.
War's Mistress, Metal Gear Fic. Rating: T. Characters: OC, with characters like the Winds of Destruction, Raiden, Sam, and Kevin popping in and out of the story later on. But, when a protection job in Russia in the year 2015 goes horribly awry, leaving Emily on the verge of death, what happens when you combine an ex-Haven Trooper, a hastily un-scrambled brain, and cybernetic implants?
Life of the Pack, Destiny Fic. Rating: T. Characters: 5-man OC Fireteam, with a sixth undisclosed member joining soon after. Description: The Darkness is rising, and its direct servants, the Vex and Hive, will soon move into a revived campaign against the Darkness' enemy, the Traveler. Many teams of Guardians stand to meet these forces at the gates, but one, Fireteam Komodo, will unknowingly bring to light a very potent question: Are some Cabal and Fallen in situations so different from ours?
Bloodlines: Family of Killers, Friday the 13th Fic. Rating: Was M, changing to T to increase possible views. Characters: OC, Jason Voorhees, and appearances by numerous other slasher characters ranging from massively popular to the slightly-less-so. American Monsters. Rating: T. Characters: Zombina, Manako. Description: When two of the members of M.O.N. are trapped in the United States on a botched business trip, and accidental arson and murder prevents them from leaving conventionally, what events may unfold in their attempts to get home?
Radiating Fire, Gears of War Oneshot
Unnamed Terminator Fic. Haven't started writing, but the concept is totally ironed out and ready to begin on the first chapter.
Planned But Not Started (note that all of these are intended to be long, big, novel fics like my current ones will shape up to be, not a single name listed below will be a oneshot)
Unnamed Assassin's Creed Fic, with two planned stories, the first during the Black Flag era, and the second during ACIII era (I know they're really close together, but still, I feel it's better for the execution overall). Characters: OCs, with appearances by various characters from the respective time periods of each story.
Unnamed Metroid Story. Characters: OCs, with Space Pirate POV.
Unnamed Crysis Fic. Characters: OCs, with a different main character compared to other Crysis stories.
New Friends, New Problems, Defiance Fic. Characters: Group of OCs, mostly Irathient with one human.
Warfire, Killzone Fic. Characters: OC, later a group of them, and Colonel Radec. Helghast POV and AU.
Unnamed Mass Effect Fic. Characters: OCs based off of the multiplayer characters, with Shepard and her crew showing up from time to time.
Unnamed Monster Hunter Fic. Characters: OCs.
Unnamed Dead Space Fic. Characters: OC, Isaac Clarke (note that this is not a pairing, Isaac's name is only there because he will pop up a few times in the story.)
Unnamed Saints Row Fic (Don't worry, it'll have 110% less SRIV level weird in it than SRIII and IV. Think a mixture of the whole celebrity gangster thing SRIII had, but without things like Genki and those tacky "superpowers" from one of the dlcs. Oh, and also more Gat...) Characters: The Boss, Johhny Gat.
Unnamed Killing Floor Fic
Circus for a Psycho, Halo/Doom Crossover. Characters: Noble Six, OC
Unnamed Resident Evil/House of the Dead Crossover. Characters: 2 OC U.S.S. Agents, with a primary focus on fighting between various B.O.W.s and the bosses from the various HOTD games. RE viruses included will be T-Virus, T-Abyss, C-Virus, and Plaga parasites.
Black Damsel Series: I had an idea after watching Pacific Rim and thinking about my Armored Core story, so this is going to be called the "Black Damsel Series". It essentially explores the concept of the same machine, and the same "owner" so to speak, across four different universes. This is not a four-way crossover, it is four different stories that explore what the existence of a central machine in each story would end up being like, as well as what situation its owners/creators would be in. Note that, even though they are in numerical order, I will probably update them side by side, not wait until one is done to start the next.
Story 1: Unnamed Armored Core Fic. Characters: OC NEXT pilots, in a universe where the Armored Cores, characters, corporations and enemies of games like AC 3, AC 4, and AC V are all in active use and functioning at the same time.
Story 2: Unnamed Real Steel story
Story 3: Unnamed Pacific Rim story
Story 4: Burning Hearts, Cracked Minds, Titanfall Story
Requests from Fans:
American Monsters, Daily Life with a Monster Girl/モンスター娘のいる日常 fic. The guy essentially asked for a story that does away with a lot of Anime/Manga stereotypes.
Here I'll list the various forms of media that have inspired and driven the direction of some of my stories and ideas, mostly for anybody who may be interested in knowing. Note that this list will be added to as time goes on, so be sure to check it every few updates if it interests you.
Borderline Madness: Runnin' Wild by Airborne (VERY big inspiration, and actually what drove me to even create the story in the first place), HellYeah! by Rev Theory, Arma-Goddamn-Motherf*ing-Geddon (Not sure if I can put heavy profanity on this page and get away with it) by Marilyn Manson, and your squad in Battlefield: Bad Company and Bad Company 2.
War's Mistress: Primarily movies, such as The Expendables, The Mechanic (2010 version), and Sicario. Dialogue in particular takes some slight inspirations from the back-and-forth arguments in Archer.
A Morte De Caes was primarily inspired by the concepts of guerrilla warfare, pack-hunter animals, and organized rebel fighters. Their whole theme is a band of only semi-militaristic pack-hunting soldiers and cyborgs alongside animal-like UGs hunting their enemies by bounding across rooftops, through forests, any terrain with possible height variation.
Kinva from Borderline Madness and League of Souls: Slavery and Dead to Me by Spineshank, the body design of Mecha Kha'Zix from League of Legends, Fulgore from KI2013, Freddy Krueger (Entirely in the idea for a clawed left hand, as well as how she wields it at times), and the Space Pirates from the Metroid Prime trilogy.
American Monsters: Ain't No Easy Way by the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Renegade by Daughtry, the songs Just Sixteen, She Builds Quick Machines, Let it Roll, Headspace, and Sucker Train Blues by Velvet Revolver; Quentin Tarantino's film-style in general, a very slight twinge of Breaking Bad influence, HellYeah! and Light It Up by Rev Theory, Keep Moving by Andrew Stockdale, and Steal Me Away by Ana Popovic.
Aderyn Derrow from American Monsters: Get Back (Rock Version) by Ludacris Ft. Sum 41, Stick 'Em Up by Quarashi, Lump Your Head by Hollywood Undead, and It's Goin Down by Pre-Fight Hype.
Burning Hearts, Cracked Minds: Total Annihilation by Cliff Lin, Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) by Nico Vega, and Happy Together by Filter.
Life of the Pack: Overall Theme: Triple Dog Dare by The Thirteen Brotherhood, The End Run from the Mass Effect 2 Soundtrack.
The Hive Marauders were primarily inspired by the Slipskulls from Resistance: Fall of Man, the Hive Cavaliers were massively inspired by the Naginata-Wielding Giant Samurai from Sucker Punch, and songs that influenced the overall depiction of the Hive include Beauty of Annihilation by Kevin Sherwood, Meteor Shower from the Splatterhouse 2010 Soundtrack, the instrumental aspect of Ghost by Mnemic, and Abandon All from the Killing Floor Soundtrack.
League of Souls: Spirit of Champions, Archangel, and To Glory by Two Steps From Hell, and Hour of Destiny from the Soul Caliber 3 Soundtrack.
Stories I'm open to but have something hindering their creation:
Skyrim Story. Being an avid Skyrim player I'd be open to the concept, but don't have a story idea drawn up. If I get a lot of input asking for it I'll put more priority on plotting out a story.
Star Wars story. Yet again, avid fan of the source material, but plotting out a story's been far more difficult than with my other stories. Probably won't bother chasing it at all unless I get a lot of input asking for it.
Yes, believe it or not my story's actually got symbolism in it. For example:
Clothes that are either baggy, possess a hood, have a fur lining somewhere (Such as a Bomber Jacket), and are usually in dark colors indicate a character that either doesn't have a very strong moral compass, little problem with breaking the law, has a varying type/level of mental instability, or is otherwise likely to be a likable, relaxed character instead of a stiff, aggravating rule-enforcer. Same goes for the use of gas masks in non-gas involved situations.
Characters who use non-5.556 or 9mm firearms are typically more important than those that do use 5.56 or 9mm firearms. Most prominent example of this is that Zom and Manako from American Monsters both use guns from lines that commonly feature 9mm rounds, but the specific versions I chose use .45 ACP and 40 S&W respectively.
Silver Crosses typically indicate a character with a hidden moral dilemma or bad past. I'm not heavily religious, I just like the look of silver cross necklaces and thought tying it to some sort of symbolism would be interesting.
Being my personal color scheme, anything involving black and purple in tandem is either the primary star of the show, or otherwise going to play a very prominent role in the long run.
I personally feel it's only right to give an honorable mention to PoisonDIlu on DeviantArt and JayTheArbiter on the Epic Games Forums. Reason being Jay's how I even discovered the concept of Fanfiction at all, and PoisonDIlu's fanart "Mass Effect: High Priority" of the fanfic story Geth Infiltrator is literally THE reason I even know this website exists. If I hadn't seen it, I never would've read as many stories as I did to snowball me into posting here, so technically, despite Poison not writing the stories I post, he's the reason they're here in the first place.
While fanart of my stories (Or even just someone asking to feature a character of mine in a story, I feel like I killed that opportunity by bringing the idea up with Blood-Nose preemptively, terrible idea T.T) would be a dream come true, I'd probably need to do a scene/story worthy of that level of attention in the first place. I'll definitely commission some artist to draw up some characters from my stories at some point, and am actually having some difficulty finding ones now that I'm saving the money. If any artists are interested, just PM me with what you can do and we'll go from there.
