![]() Author has written 239 stories for CSI, and Bones. I thought that after writing this many stories, I ought to post something here about myself. I am a huge Bones fan and I think that the show is an amazing portrayal of an epic love story. I've bought in hook, line and sinker and I can't help myself but to write about it. I think that it's obvious that I am also a CSI fan and am rather fond of the idea of Nick and Sara together even if it never happens on the show simply because I think they have natural chemistry and they play off of each other wonderfully. However, I am no longer writing for this fandom and so for those who enjoy this pairing, please note that I will not be writing any additional CSI stories. I first began to write fanfiction because I didn't see the stories I wanted to read, so I thought I should just write them instead. I have great ambition to write a novel someday, and in many ways writing these stories is a way to hone my craft and improve my though processes in putting together a story and bringing it through to a logical and plausible conclusion. I have penned a number of children's stories and am mapping out a plan to get them published. As for my inspiration for writing; well one author that I'd love to emulate for the way she's capture my attention and kept me guessing until the very last paragraph is Francine Matthews who wrote "Cut Out", "Secret Agent", and "Blown". I'd recommend each of these highly if you enjoy a good read about spies or suspense. I'm also a fan of Patricia Cornwell, but I usually save her books for reading in the air or during layovers in an airport. (I once read an entire one sitting in Heathrow waiting for my plane home to the States from South Africa on one of the hottest days on record in London.) Of course as much as I love to read spy and suspense novels, I find that romantic humor is what flows out of me when I sit down to write a story. In some ways it's rather theraputic after coming home from a very stressful job. As for the personal stuff, well I live with MacGyver the Wonder Cat and his side kick Leonardo DaKitty, and I have a lovely view of a river and a famous mountain (well a volcano really, but it's sleeping, or as vulcanologists would say, it's dormant). I have watched Bones and CSI from the beginning and was a Discovery Channel junkie watching Forensic Files and the New Detectives before that. I appreciate every person who has ever read one of my stories, your reviews brighten my days sometimes more than you know. |
