Hi guys! I'm a Journalism and Cinema major who likes to use OCs in her writing. I've been a member of this site for...quite a bit of time... and I'm just finally posting some stories so I figured I should update this!
I like a lot of different books, movies and shows, so there are plenty of stories waiting in the wings, so hopefully I should be able to get a couple started within the next few weeks. I also know how annoying it is to wait for updates (sometimes for years) so I will do my best to update on a regular schedule. And I give you permission to yell at me if I don't.
The one thing I dislike about this site is when someone gives you a guest review, you can't respond to them in anyway. I just had a great review of a oneshot from a guest- now don't get me wrong, I love hearing that I'm doing a good job, but I also really like it when people point out what I could improve on (not flame me and just tell me I'm bad, but tell me what worked and what didn't). I would love to be able to PM the guest and thank him/her for their honest, genuine feedback, because it will make me a better writer and hopefully make my stories more interesting to the rest of you. So if you have something to say about a story or a oneshot or a pairing I'm planing on doing, I want to hear it! You can review, you can PM me, and don't feel the need to just be nice (though if you wanna be nice I'm good with that too!), I like hearing what I could improve upon. And thank you to that mysterious Guest out there, you made me smile tonight, and I plan to take all the advice you gave me.
I recently removed my Jurassic Park story "Try and Keep Up", just to let you all know. I like to have a decent amount of plot work done before I actually start writing the story, having specific events and character traits already planned out and how they would react to certain situations, and I was only two chapters in when I realized I didn't have enough work done on my OC for that story. I'd rather go back and do some work on the character instead of keeping the story dragging on with a Mary-Sue of a protagonist. It will come back eventually, but only when I feel like the character is capable of standing on her own.
