Author has written 11 stories for Twilight, and Harry Potter.
I've just begun posting a new fic, a prequel to my second Twilight fic, Stepping from Shadows. The new fic is called By Just One Vote and it follows Gray and Carlisle as she adjusts to her new life as a vampire during her first experience living amongst humans. Gray and her family were suffrage supporters, and the new fic is set in Tennessee in the summer of 1920 as the final battle in the seventy-year long Votes for Women fight is waged. It's six chapters long and about 35,000 words. The right to vote is so fundamental a right as a citizen, it's taken for granted that of course all citizens can vote, but only 100 years ago, that wasn't the case. The story of the fight for full suffrage for all American women is filled with all the best and all the worst of human nature, and it's virtually unknown. It's the greatest story never told. Writing this fic, I was inspired and amazed and proud, and at times disgusted and appalled. I hope you'll check it out and let me know how it made you feel.
A quick update on To Hold Something Beautiful the sequel to Stepping from Shadows. I'm up to chapter 12, and I hope to be able to post it in the spring. It's coming along pretty well. The first full chapter is posted, so if you want to follow it, you'll get an update when I do start posting the full fic.
A huge thank you to everyone who's read, reviewed, favorited, or followed not just this latest fics but all of my fics. You can't know how thrilled I get anytime I see those number tick up. If you haven't read them, I hope you'll check them out.
