Author has written 67 stories for Harry Potter, CSI: New York, Numb3rs, NCIS, Law and Order: CI, Criminal Minds, Law and Order: SVU, Stargate: Atlantis, CSI, and Ghost Whisperer.
I would like to say a blanket thank you to all my readers and reviewers for their patience, encouragement and kind praise. It's always a joy to read reviews of praise or constructive criticism on something that I've worked on. Other times, it's a little knock on the door reminding me to get that story done!
Life is a roller coaster, and while I am a happy fan, I am also quite devoted to my real life commitments. I can't promise that I will write quickly or post often, just that I will be writing along somewhere about something. Even if it's rather obscure and arcane.
I am lucky enough to have muses and plot bunnies that come along every-so-often and bite. However, these muses and plot bunnies also have minds of their own and will ocassionally bulk at working with me, rather like stubborn mules. So it isn't unusual for me to put down a story and not pick it up for months or years. My goal is to leave no story incomplete. If I can't finish it, I'll probably take it down, though I hope it won't come to that.
My current obsessions are focused on TV shows, especially Numb3rs and Stargate: Atlantis. However, as always, I read more than I write. So feel free to browse through my favorites lists; there are some wonderful authors here.
Status Updates (if anyone's interested):
Wait for the Dawn/Step Into the Morning: These are the planned sequels to Slide Into the Night that I hope to write (and post) within the next three years. I'm setting my expectations very low since my real life commitments in the coming eighteen months will severely curtail my ability to write multi-chaptered stories. Ideally, I want to wrap up this series within the year, if only for my sanity's sake. Now, I don't have to be a math genius to tell you the odds of that actually happening are somewhere in the single digits...
Unexpected Arrivals: This is the sequel to Coming Home, set in the now fictional Season Six of Stargate: Atlantis. As the next installment in the Three Years to Eternity Universe, this story is told from a secondary character's point of view as Atlantis figures out how to protect its own from the IOA.
Run: This has currently been put on the backburner, pending revisions to a few scenes. I've never written Rodney before, so I am taking a little extra time to "find" his narrative.
Numb3rs Drabbles & All Unwritten: Both of these have drabbles/short-pieces/one-shots written. I just have to untangle the formatting that I came up with because it's got me confused as to chapter titles and order of presentation.
CEpE Stories (Competed Except the (possible) Epilogue):
Bitter Harvest: At the current moment, this story is done. However, another secondary character may poke me with a narrative to add.
Landfall: At the current moment, the story is finished, though a final chapter has been drafted and semi-written. Now, whether that chapter is fit to be posted...
Point of No Return: This story would have an epilogue, if the Gordan family (and ghosts) would cooperate with my muses.
Stories On Hold:
Secrets in the Sun: This has been simmering on the backburner for me. I do have some ideas, but none of them are on paper at the moment. Research has stalled, and if this story does become active again, it likely faces a nearly complete re-write of characters and plot.
Lighthouse in the Night: This story will probably be removed from my profile within the year, seeing that I already have two massive AUs on my hands and no time to devote to rewriting the plotline.
There's A Place: This is my pet project; if you do want to see its fully updated status, I would advise going to the SugarQuilldotNet and looking for Phoenix's Melody. This story is also on the backburner.
That's all for now. Keep writing and keep reading!
