Hello everyone. I am AvidReader212. I'm 20 years old and am currently a student. I started out reading fanfiction a while ago and soon become addicted. I only read hence the name though I am thinking of writing something soon. You would think I would start out with a drabble or a one-shot but it looks like I'm going to go the whole 9 yards and do a multi-fic. I am by no mean a writer of any kind but I do have a decent an imagination and I feel it's a shame to let my great ideas to go to waste.
I would love to say I have a favorite pairing or character but I really don't. If I read a good story and you did a pairing or character justice, that is going to be my favorite pairing or character of the moment. That being said I do dislike pairings. I am not a big fan of Yoai, yuri, slash, Mpreg, incest, and pairings with really large age gaps. There are some exceptions to this rule, I have read some (most times by accident), and they can be really good, i'm just not a fan, it seems too unrealistic to me. Yeah this is Fan"fiction" but I guess there is a thing as too much fiction. I also am not a fan of self inserts, I've only read 2 good ones other than that I think the rest are garbage. I hate good plot ideas ruined by horrible writing. There are so many stories out there that could be very amazing but sound like they are written by 5th graders and it makes me sad to see a story butchered. I do love a good angsty story though with just a dash of tragedy. Just a dash too much and I get depressed.
So hello again Im still working on that story. It's coming along but I'm a student so don't hold your breath. I realize that people only visit my page when I leave comments on their stories and want to see who I am I guess, which is why I actually have a bio despite not ever really writing a story. I might just wrote a one- shot for fun and stick it on here.
To update on my likes and dislikes I am now a huge fan of Self-Inserts. Don't really know when it happened but yeah I have a bunch of really good ones in my favs if you want to check it out and you think good ones are hard to find.
