Author has written 16 stories for Doctor Who, West Wing, Torchwood, and Harry Potter.
I would classify myself as a geek among geeks, a nerd extraordinaire. I've been into the sci-fi/fantasy genre since I was about 3 feet high and barely speaking. I started watching Star Wars at the age of 4 and Star Trek at the age of 7. Shows with a special place in my heart include Doctor Who and Star Trek, though I do branch out to much, much more.
I am a student, aiming for medical school, and you might find that I get fairly descriptive and/or anal retentive about biological things as well as other parts of science that I'm familiar with. As a student of science, I do expect some degree of realism in my stories (I've been told that I can be downright unpleasant when something is illogical or impossible), and with a second major in literature, I expect minimal grammatical and spelling mistakes (spellcheck exists for a reason!)
I typically write one shots that are heavily character analysis oriented. I am working on a few stories longer than that, but I'd like to have a comfortable lead on them before I start posting (please check out De-Aged, a Doctor Who/Harry Potter crossover. I finally have a big enough lead to start posting!). It doesn't help that I'll be motivated to write in spurts. I don't want to be one of those people who starts a story and then abandons it and the readers.
I have a few OCs, but most of them have their own universes in which they live, and it gets difficult inserting them. If they are ever added, there will be a long note explaining where they come from, what they do, and their general life story. The one apparent exception to this rule is Herr Doc Fluffermeister, based upon my pet rabbit. He currently resides in the Doctor Who-niverse, but might start appearing in other fandoms if I get inspired.
I know many authors say you should leave a review, but I seriously appreciate them. For one, reviews motivate me to write more. For another, I'm a lit major. While I know how to analyze things, that doesn't necessarily mean I know what I'm doing when I write. I want to make sure I'm headed in the right direction. Lastly, if you leave a longish review, analyzing the fic, I'll probably respond, and most likely get into a huge conversation with you. This leads to me checking out YOUR profile, reading YOUR stories, LIKING them, FOLLOWING them, and REVIEWING them! It's a win/win situation! So seriously, REVIEW!!!! :D
Have a lovely day, and thank you for showing interest in me!
Things to keep an eye out for:
De-Aged: the Doctor and Jack are children again and are in Hogwarts. I finally have over 10 chapters, so I feel comfortable uploading 1-2 chapters a month. I'm really super excited about this since it's the longest thing I've ever written.
Herr Doc Fluffermeister stories: I write these when my pet rabbit does something weird, funny, or annoying... so they show up kind of sporadically.
