Finding myself back here after years of being away is curious. I've added a lost chapter to Walking With A Ghost, and the thought of getting back to Believe has been haunting me; I'm finding I'm missing the characters, much like one might miss old friends. We'll see where that goes.

It's a big world when it wants to be...

Some of my FF7 stories work within the same continuity as Not What I'll Have You Believe:
- the Scientists trio (Echoes of Angels, Crimsonality, and A Science Apart) set the foundation decades earlier;
- Soldier Boy pulls in a teenaged Aeris, Zack, and Reno, though the connection to the main story is slight;
- Foxtrot is short, bantery one-year-post-game Reffie;
- Unconditional Things follows up with Elena and Rude shortly after the Midwinter events of Foxtrot.

...A good friend once described me as a "grey lady, she who sees in darkness but dreams of light" and it's (somehow, still) fitting.

Am I a shipper? Sure. I've got a taste for the unusual, the snarky, and the hopeful... but, honestly, love is love. I love slow-burn love stories, sidekicks, redheads, and banter. Good banter makes the world go 'round. I also have a soft spot a mile wide for stories that focus on families: whether by soul or blood, or often, both.

Thoughts in review/e-mail form are always appreciated, and it's likely I'll review back.
