Spring keeps trying to get here, but Winter just won't let go. It's for sure "in like a lion" month this year. Hopin' for "out like a lamb!"
A wave hello to SHORE LEAVE 36 in August. Got confirmation of registration (and a number under 100 - yay!) and my hotel confirmation, so I'm good to go! And guess who's the headliner celeb guest? The Sci-Fi Duct Tape And Paper Clip Guy Himself: Richard Dean Anderson. Along with the great and gracious Robert Picardo, and - just learned - Silas Weir Mitchell, who plays Monroe on Grimm, plus a gob of guest authors and scientists, this year's SL is shaping up to be another fabulous time. I shall, as usual, allow myself to become giddy with anticipation this early.
I'm becoming a bit less bodmin over Doc Martin, but I'm not giving up on the old curmudgeon yet. Though late to it even for the United States, I'm finally getting my chance to watch Series 6. I'll admit I miss the excitement I had when I first started watching, but that's not to say I'm not excited for this series. I suspect it will be the last one, and I hope the show goes out with a bang.
Big thanks to all the Doc Martin fans and fanfiction writers who've been willing to read and review my DM fanfic, but especially to Littleguinea and GriffinStar for their hearty words of encouragement, fine eye to grammar, and ability to keep my "Americanisms" to a minimum. Every one of you are the best ever. In fact, I've been re-reading some of my reviews, and they just make me all warm and fuzzy inside all over again. Thank you! I'm hopeful of coming up with some new stuff for Series 6.
Downton Abbey: Seemed like they tied up a lot of loose ends in that last episode. Is that it for the show?

As you could tell by my gushing over...what was the name of that sci-fi con again?...I'm not ashamed to admit it: I'm a blissfully-obsessed Trekker and will be till I die - and probably well after that, too. My favorite incarnation will always be Voyager, but I carry considerable affection for all the others, too, 'cept maybe Enterprise.
I continue to appreciate everyone who's still reading and taking time to review my Star Trek stories and ask that you NEVER, EVER STOP. Extra-special thanks currently goes to FaBbErOoZ, who's taken a shine recently to my P/T fic. Continued thanks and appreciation goes to Jasper's Second Choice and Dax's10thHost.
And, hey, don't forget, if you're looking to read some of what I lovingly call "Treksmut" from days long gone by (mostly Paris/Torres from Voyager, but also some Janeway/Chakotay and various f/f, too), I'd be more than happy to share that with anyone over the age of 18. Since we mustn't post the really dirty bits here, just e-mail me (send me an original e-mail - don't go through this site, because it blocks e-mail addresses), tell me what pairing you'd like to read, and be sure you at least put it in writing that you're old enough to read naughty bits. Meantime, I've still got loads of unsmutty Trek right here!

Thanks goes to StarbucksGhost, too, for taking time to read and review my Grey's Anatomy stories. I may never get over the firing of Brooke Smith and the demise of the Hahn/Torres relationship, but that's only because I enjoy that particular misery and would much prefer to curse the darkness than light a candle. LOL!
However, can I just say, about the current state of the Callie/Arizona relationship? Can we just move on?
