Author has written 52 stories for Stargate: SG-1.
Hello! I've never been great at this Bio stuff. It's like trying to fill out your Twitter profile in 160 characters or less. Which, coincidentally, I also found practically impossible.
About Me: I'm a twenty-something, Irish female with a deep love/passion/borderline obsession with Stargate SG-1.
My Fics: In 2012, I finally decided to try my hand at writing fanfiction after re-watching episodes of SG-1. In particular, the episode Threads. Yes, I know the idea has been done to death, but let's face it... a girl who has been rooting for Sam and Jack since the first episode, needs closure.
On that note, I am a HUGE S/J shipper, so it's very likely my stories will be the same. I'm also always up for a challenge, so if there is an episode you'd like me to try and tackle, or a certain situation, word or something you'd like to see in a fic, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do!
* JANUARY 2015 UPDATE *
Firstly, thank you so much to those who nominated - and voted - for my fics Crash Into You and Hidden Meanings In Everyday Conversations for the 2014 Sam and Jack Multimedia Awards. The fact that some of you have enjoyed my writing so much as to recommend it to others, is overwhelming and incredibly humbling. Thank you. :)
Secondly, my unfinished fics. I currently have a few unfinished fics. I do promise to complete them, but while I have an idea as to how I want the stories to develop, none of my ideas seem to work when they are on paper. As a result, it leaves me stressed and slightly irritable – with absolutely no writing to show for it – so I have decided to take a step back and leave the fics as they are for a little while longer. They are: Countdown to Christmas, Famous Last Words, Lacuna Locutus and (mainly) Written in the Stars.
Thirdly. Nevertheless, I do still want – and need – to continue writing fanfiction, so (what with it being a new year and all), I have decided to set myself a challenge. Who knows, it could inspire some ideas for the fics I just mentioned. So, as some of you know, I get great joy out of discovering the various 'bizarre' holidays that are celebrated around the world. While I have tackled a few of these in the past – like Step In A Puddle And Splash Your Friend Day – this year I have decided to dedicate myself to the task of trying to write a fic for any bizarre holiday that takes my eye. As there are hundreds of celebrations, there are probably quite a few I'll be attempting. Lastly, as the holidays are on the more 'unique' side, it is therefore quite likely that the stories will be the same – you have been warned! ;)
Feedback: I always try to respond to feedback when it is left for my stories, as I really do appreciate all the comments I receive. Thank you.
Disclaimer: Sadly, and contrary to popular belief, I do not own Stargate, either the show or physical gate, the episodes, the characters, or any of its related franchises. If I did, I wouldn't be attempting to write fanfiction. Instead, I'd be spending a lot of my time in the company of a certain Jack O'Neill… fishing.
A girl can but dream.
So yeah, I don't own anything, and I promise to return the characters safe and sound once I've finished playing with them, so please don't sue me.
Anything Else: I've probably left some stuff out here. Any questions, drop me a PM or follow my Irish randomness on Twitter!
