Hey guys, I'm Esme! I've had this fanfiction account for a while now, and have decided to do some cleaning up around here. So most of the content here is going to come in two flavors: Original fanfictions from 2012, and their reboots and new fiction in 2015 onward! The quest here is for contrast, to see how far I've come from when I first started!
So with that in mind, let's go on an adventure, shall we? The quest for improvement begins!
How I Became Ayame (Okami): A 40-chapter lesson in practice and revision. I'm more proud of what I learned writing this than the finished product, but this story still holds a special place in my heart, if only because I poured so much time into it. This is the first story that will be completely re-written, with a working title of Foxglove.
Tangled Puppeteer (Puppet Master): 22 chapters long, one of my most popular stories. This is another one I'm going to be reworking before I approach it again, and may take a while to show up. What I'm hoping to do is rewrite this story so it could work as an actual Puppet Master movie. (Considering the writing quality in most Puppet Master movies, this shouldn't be hard.)
Amy the Outcast (Lilo and Stitch): Oh, LORDY. Amy the Outcast was my first fiction on this site, and it shows. It has an incomplete sequel that I will not be working on until the original is rebooted. But... yeah. It's a mess, guys. It taught me a lot about pacing, though.
Foxglove: The reboot of How I Became Ayame. I'm trying to scrape off all the needless fluff and nonsensical additions. Don't go into it expecting to just see the original with fancier language - while there is an original character named Iris (and shipping because I'm shipping trash), the tone will be much more serious and hopefully have a faster, more interesting pace. And more Tobi.
