Um. Well. I'm a socially awkward girl hoping to gain some confidence through writing (well, don't we all) and just trying to empty my brain of all these ideas that keep threatening to overflow and take over my life.

I like reviews and I like seeing the number of visitors to my stories grow (again, don't we all). If you criticise, do make sure its going to be constructive. There's really no point to stuff like "I-hate-you-and-your-stories-and-damn-you-all-to-the-fiery-pits-of-Hell". At least tell me why I be damned.

Not that I have gotten reviews like these of course. I just saw an instance where a reviewer wasn't even commenting on the person's story, just saying that he/she hated that person's fandom. Well that's etched itself in my memory and I don't think he has a right to say that. He didn't manage to diss the fandom, he just managed to make a fool of himself.

I like to think that my greatest influence in writing has been Enid Blyton. She wrote about the magic and dream worlds that never cease to amaze me and enrapture me. Her imagery was always simple yet enthralled my impressionable (then, and maybe (probably) now too) mind. I love the idea of a universe in which magic is very real and believed in. If you asked me if I believed in magic, I would probably say yes. But I know that deep down inside, I probably don't. Seeing is believing after all. Rather, I think if you asked me if I believed in the existence of magic in alternate universes (yes I believe in those), I would say yes without a pause.

I love Cardcaptor Sakura. It was my first bona fide anime, even before the English-dubbed Pokemon. I'd catch the English CCS at 11am and then the Chinese one at 1:30pm on channel 8 on Saturdays, even if it meant missing out on my McDonald's breakfast (very important to an eight year old kid).

One day, if I get shot by a bout of inspiration I'll definitely write a fic about it.
