I like just about anything that will catch my attention at the time, I'll read about and curious about nearly anything (really there are some things I wish I never read, attempted to and want to pretend that people are not as sick as it suggests.Curiosity killed the cat indeed.)
If you don't want to read the profile page, which people put junk on here on a whim, then there's a "hide bio" type button right under the user name...took me forever to realize what it is for...
I really don't see why people complain about stories on here. If you don't like something than don't read it. Don't ruin it for people that do, everyone is different with different likes and dislikes. Even if the writing isn't good, it doesn't mean you can yell at them. You have no idea how old they are, they could be just a kid that you are making feel like crap. Fanfiction is for you to let your imagination out and it helps for non-authors to write. Of course no body owns the books or movies on here, you are on here because you want more of your fandom! There is a list of those that are banned, if a author didn't want their book to be wrote about they would have let the creators of these sites know. If someone wants to write a gay harry that gets into Slytherin, who are you to judge? So what he was straight in canon; you can change how canon goes, but you can't with who he likes? That is not the point of fanfiction.
For the people that report stories for the most stupidest things are the reason that so many well written and promising stories are being taken off or borderline about to. You are ruining things for everyone else and maybe we will all loose these sites. The stories all have ratings on them and warnings, they all should have warnings at least. It is not their fault you could not read. If parents are mad their kids read something sexual or violent, again that is not their fault, but your own for not being more observant.
Why can't the creators just do what adult-fanfiction or Archive of you own have done with their ratings? They have a little thing where you put your birthday in to see if you can go further to read a mature story or a warning pop up thing. If young teenagers or preteens lie about their birthday than it's not their fault, but the parents or sitters. You'd think the ratings would be enough, but like movies it doesn't stop them. If they are older, than they are dealing with idiots or prejudice. Why don't they look at the stories and write to the author first before just taking them off? Why let prejudice rule the site?

Sirius/James(James could have easily took a mal-preg potion or something to have Harry. These two seem like they could have easily went that way.)
Sirius/Harry(I did have a phase were I only read this paring. But now I prefer the Godfather/Godson-Father/son stories; but, only if it's believable. Lately, it is getting annoying when they just throw in Harry calling him dad, when they hardly knew or seen each other for 3 years. One of those years Harry hated him most of the time. When Sirius died Harry thought of him as a brother/father figure. They didn't exactly have the typical fatherly/son bond going on; it's why Molly thought Sirius wanted a James replacement. I can read them with nearly any paring as long as the writing and plot is good.)
Harry/Theodore(I love him, especially in "There Be dragons,Harry" by. Scioneeris -made me love him. It's really good! Like my favorite of all favorite stories. He's not really mentioned(That I remember), so it's easy to portray him as you want to. Then it pains me when someone makes him "bad" and not with or even friends with Harry, when they do with Draco or some other that hates him.)
Harry/Slytherin( I'm getting into reading Harry in a paring with a Slytherin. Blasie and Theo are not really mentioned and you can go either way with them without it being too weird or Mary-sue. Though Theo's family doesn't count.Which is a wonder why they are not paired off more than the others that are enemies with Harry.)
Harry/Riddick( So wish there were more on this pairing! There are a couple of stories that I love, but the author hasn't updated in nearly 4-6 years).
Naruto/Hinata(A lot of people don't like Hinata, but she is one of closest to be right for him. She looked up to him for him standing up for himself against everyone and still being able to smile and that formed into a crush that never went away. She saw him for him. Even what she did can be consider stalking a bit. She like Neville Longbottom have very strict guardians that tore them down and they needed to work on their self-esteem.
Sasuke/Sakura( Have no idea why; I think it's because of the few stories I did read of them together. It was way AU and not much with canon. They got me into the paring, but only when she's not being a cow. But, lately I just don't really like her, period.)
Sesshomaru/Kagome(This is only if I find good stories with her in it, a lot of times she just annoys me to no end. I just like Sesshomaru and I think if he was with Kagome he would have taught her how to defend herself properly. He also wouldn't take her annoyance or the bs she pulls in that time, like bringing her bike into the past or wearing modern clothes that make you look like a prostitute. Hello! You are suppose to be blending in!)
Least favorite parings or got tired of parings of any kind
Harry/Ginny( If the books/movies actually showed them talking and start off as friends that slowly fell for each other; that she got over her obvious fan-girl personality towards him and showed more of that girl that joined Fred and George in goofing off in the 5th book. Then I might like Ginny, but they didn't. There are too many holes and the relationship seemed random and makes it far too easy to see as being planned out by Ginny and/or Molly using love or jealously potions. Quite few make out that Harry has a thing for red heads or his family has a love-of-red-heads cruse. Why!? Was there any hint at all that he has a thing for red heads? When his first crush was Chinese? The whole family thing is stupid too. Hogwarts is in Scotland,of course they are going to be a lot of red heads. Just because James married Lily it does not mean all Potters married red heads; pretty sure Harry's grandfather or great grandfather married a Black. They mostly have black hair or blonde, not red.)
Harry/Hermione(I always thought they would end up together when I was little, but the ones I first read was too Mary sue and "please gag me with a spoon". Pushed me away from them.Though she and Luna are the only females I see him with, unless a really good ofc or crossover came along.)
Ron/Hermione(Not a real big fan of them. They argue too much, have nothing in common, the wrong kind of complete opposites, and it looked like without Harry they wouldn't even have talked to each other.)
Remus/Harry( I'm really annoyed by Remus. He never got in contact with Harry after 3rd year, even when he knew Remus was friends with James. He is not even mentioned again until the Order take him to HG. More importantly, he never got a hold of Harry when he was in the tournament. Not once asked if he was okay, if he needed any tips, or even showed up for the tasks. I mean Molly and Bill showed up for the family thing. Not Remus. While Sirius risked being captured and kissed to be close for Harry. But he couldn't? Harry calls him Lupin and not Remus in canon, even in the last book. Harry thought more of him as a connection to his parents and later Sirius, wanting to know more of them. But after Sirius died, Remus got closer to Tonks and didn't think to bond with Harry. Why would anyone then think he has any say in Harry's life? Or that he was a godfather or Uncle to Harry when Sirius was and no mention of Remus? Even before the attack it sounded like Remus was gone a lot and the others didn't really trust him. So with that Remus wouldn't even be around much when Harry was a baby. So no bond like Sirius would have gotten. Remus is one of those characters you want to like, because is was friends with one of the main groups and you feel sorry for. But you have a hard time in trying to, like with Ron. In my case anyway.
Thor/Jane(They barely knew each other, not even 2 and half days passed in the Thor movie. No promises, nothing before he left. Then 2 years pass before the 2nd Thor movie starts, The Avengers already happened and it clearly looks like he is busy. During Thor 2, again 1-2 days pass. So why in the hell will she act like she did when seeing Thor again? They really didn't do anything in any movie, but try to save the world. They hardly were together in the first. So where is this attraction coming from, but their looks?)
