"When did I ever look back"
A set of questions to whoever stumbles upon this page of mine, just for the sake of curiosity and (my) glee:
"How far do you think an OC can be integrated into a canon series before it begins to step out of the reader's comfort zone? Or a set of OCs for that matter. By that, I mean between interactions with canon characters, to knowing them personally and developing bonds, to interfering or contributing to the plotline. How far before it becomes unacceptable and unbearable? Does gender often come into play with this decision?" (The last question is only because I know people who often get "turned off" from the character when it is a female, yet would wholeheartedly flock towards it if it were to be male)
"If two children were raised in exactly the same way, from living conditions; to being exposed to whatever information; to the way people interact or treat them, how much do you think their personalities will differ?" (Some biological/psychological information would indeed be helpful with answering this, I believe. But what would I know? I'm just a person who lingers in several places at once)
If one of these, I presume the latter, got the cogs in your minds turning, then I have fulfilled my own personal quest.
Feel free to actually hand me an answer by private message or anywhere else you can find me, I will gladly reply with enthusiasm and vigor XD
