UPDATE 1/1/2015: Everyone Gets Drunk is being rebooted. Mind Games, the Mioda and Koizumi-centric SDR2 fic. which somehow ended up being a battle between two pseudo-Sues, is still running as normal.
Stupidly Long Profile Bit No-One Will Ever Read
Who the Hell I Am: Just some anime-obsessed Aussie uni student who likes Super Dangan Ronpa 2 far too much. I also wrote a lot of YGO fics back in the day.
Places: I have, which is where fic covers and original (read: Pokeumans) pieces go, and an which is where my more mature YGO fics go, as well as my significantly less mature Dangan Ronpa/Super Dangan Ronpa 2 pieces - most notably, my sole currently running series, Everyone Gets Drunk. That being said, is by far the easiest way to get hold of me, if you want anything off me.
Icon Ramble: The Icon of Awesomeness you see gracing my page was made by the lovely Always Better on the Other Side.of dA - the original is , if you'd like to throw her a kind word. My side of that fateful art trade is the equally hilarious (or so I've been told) Tendershipping piece,
Series/Fandom Preferences: I adore Yu-Gi-Oh, Bakuman, Death Note, Dangan Ronpa/2 and Animorphs, and hold a respect for a certain anime about ninjas - it's astounded me that it's still going. I enjoy looking at common fanfiction cliches and trends, so I do have a fair bit of knowledge about the more common serieses here, such as Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Twilight - though I may not necessarily be a fan.
I only currently write for Dangan Ronpa and SDR2.
Reviews: If I have to be up-front about this: Know that I once wrote half a page discussing the possible meanings of a single non-word expressed on one of my pieces.
This non-word, for the record, was 'Ummmmmmmmmm?'
If that doesn't tip you off: Feedback is usually a rare treat for me, so I love it when someone tosses me a sentence or two - I'll get pretty chatty with you, especially if those few sentences are actually meaningful or helpful in some way to me. I certainly don't mind getting non-sugar coated criticism, so long as you can back up your point properly.
I generally review most of what I read, since I feel that if the author spent some time writing up a couple of thousand words, you might as well write a few back. I don't read too much on this site at the moment, but I tend to concrit quite a bit on what I do read, balancing things between criticism and praise. Please bear in mind that I do tend to sugar-coat more than other people will, partially because I'm not a big fan of insulting strangers, and partially because I feel that gentle nudging in the right direction is at least somewhat more effective than beating someone over the head until they drop dead and/or give up writing and run away screaming. Put it this way: If I think that your fic is an abomination, I will not actually say that, unless you ask me a yes/no question about whether or not it is. I will suggest lots of ways it can be improved, yes, and I'll try to help you out as best as I can in that review. I certainly won't say 'For god's sake, just get the hell off the keyboard already!', or 'This passage has all the literary grace and charm of a dead fish being waved in my face', because I'm just not that sort of person.
